Very sad. He seems more intellectual than half of Congress combined during his recent NBC News interview.

The only war Iran was a part of for the past five centuries was with Iraq and even in that war it was Iraq who started it.
The only reason we hate Iran is because of the hostage crisis in 1979. But, does anyone question why did the Iranian people revolt against the Shah and accused the US of being responsible for their miserable lives?
In the past 60 years we started five wars and invaded countries that never caused us any harm. We do we keep thinking that we are the good guys and they are the bad ones?

I think he sounds way more intelligent then Bush, But I would still question his motives.. Although his UN address tonight does accurately describe the creation of what is now Israel.. I think he downplayed his contempt of the Israeli people,, I do think he would still like to see them wiped off the map. He did do some finger pointing at the West for their support for Israel.
I don't understand what it is that the US looses by engaging him in dialogue . I think Bush is a pigheaded closed minded person for not doing so.. Just speaking to the man doesn't obligate the US to doing anything.. Could it be that Bush is too afraid to be upstaged by him? It just plays into getting his back up and being more defiant.
Bush would be showing no weakness by speaking to him. He is holding the same stance with North Korea
what is it actually accomplishing ? Bush is a politician he is suppose to talk to other leaders about disagreements not ultimatum them into defiance..

It is even more sad that people in the USA have been so brainwashed to think that because the President of Iran makes more sense than this total retarded cowboy that stole his way into control of our country, Bush, that it is a sad thing.

what i find funny is that the world trusts the president of iran more than the president of the united states.how pathetic is that? on the news all day long they kept remindind us that the USA started two wars,so they have a very low opinion of us already.then theres pres.bush threating iran again, but in the same breath he says he wants peace? does pres.bush really understand foreign policy or is he stuck in that COLD WAR mentality ?

The President of Iran believes he needs to get Armageddon started and that will bring Allah here and he will be very high in ranking in heaven. He doesn't care if he dies, because he believes he will be awarded. He is a crazy psychopath who is worse than Hitler. Hitler wanted political war. The President of Iran is doing this for religious reasons which means he will not stop until the entire world is destroyed. He is a religious nut and you think he makes more sense?
You are either an idiot or a brain washed savant.

I think Iran is looking for a few good men...they need some guys to test out how destructive their nuclear weapons are, you know how the typical American might survive their attack, I am sure you could apply, they don't discriminate you know, when it comes to killing.

the man is doing what he thinks is right to insure the survival and prosperity of his people.as the leader of his people would you expect anything less,do you expect anything less from your leader.but as i listened to him address the U.N.i could not help but think that he is asking questions that should of been asked by our leader so many months or years before, seeing as how we are the biggest contributor to the UN..........as far as him making sense..... he sure did ......scary and confusing ....for who is lying and who is telling the truth....also one must ask why our president does not want to talk to this man ...isnt communication better than going to war
