I got a green card in the US but moved back to Canada after 2 years . I was wondering since my green card does not actually expire for another 7 years can i move back if i ever wanted to. I doubt that I would but am just curious about it.

Although the card itself is not expired, you lost your residency status if you were out of the US for more than 365 days unless the reason you could not return was beyond your control.

I think there is some time limit for being out of the country, but I am not sure. Check with the immigration service web page.

Check with INS (Immigration & Naturalization Service).

It hardly matters. Just come on in and if you're caught tell INS that you're Mexican and waiting for Solomon Ortiz to pardon you.

Yes you can. It is valid until it expires, even then you will probably be able to get an extension.
