In a speech at NYU's law school, Al Gore proposed replacing the income tax with a carbon tax. That is political genius. The trouble is I'm a libertarian. As such, I'm a deeply uncommitted and apolitical. Alas, genius has risen and cannot be ignored. Personally, I always thought Al was an idiot. Now I have to change my mind. What's next? What shall I do?
