I was walking out of a department store where some officers and security ask me a bizarre question and started attacking me. I believe the officer stated I assaulted him because he slipped of the curb and fell on his back. I am requesting the store tapes to be viewed, but because of my priors I am afraid they are going to stick me....they first had charged me of shoplifting and then they dropped it....please help.

I just watched my 19 yr old son, in handcuffs, be arraigned for a rape that supposedly happened 2 yrs ago.. This girl is accusing him of some really unbelievably horrible things.. Things that I know my son is not capable of. After his arraignment, we finally got to read her statement and NOTHING makes sense.. Her statement is so detailed, it almost seems rehearsed and set up.. My son is no angel, but is trying very hard to straighten up his life.. He holds a full-time job and was just getting ready to get his own apt.
To top it off, this stuff supposedly happened in his bdrm in our home..?? Problem is.. we didn't even live there at the time and he has never actually had his own bdrm where we live.. When we moved in there, he was living with his girlfriend and has only recently, since their breakup, been sleeping in our guest room..
Can anyone even imagine, why now???

I'm Italian and I just want to understand. Terrorism is the systematical use of violence which aims to create a climate of fear in a population in order to reach a certain political goal. According to this definition, do u think ur president is a terrorist? Did he create a climate of terror in America? If he did, how? And why do so many people still support him? What makes him different from Bin Laden? Do u think President Bush really represents USA?

I have a problem seeing the benefit of illegals and legals alike. I am not being racist...I am being practicle. The following explains why I do not agree with illegal immigration, however, legals do not seem to have a defnese either. They can come here and start collecting social security and welfare almost instantaniously. I'm lucky if I will be able to get social security when I am old and grey!Their properties seem to be no cleaner than illegals....they are still in the news papers for murders, drugs and welfare fraud on a regular basis. So what is the difference? If any one else has some statistical information regarding how much money legal immigrants suck up...please let me know.

The reason I ask is that a senior citizen a used to live with is being conned by her own daughter. I'll spare you the long story, but the gist of it is, she took her mother's "new will" to a notary public and not her attorney. If it is in conflict with the attorney's copy of the original will, what happens?
(P.S. I know laws vary from state to state. This is happening in Virginia)
