I am a senior in High School thinking of joining the Army. I took my ASVAB and got a 99, and now my recruiter is making me look at a lot of cool jobs like PSYOP and Intel. I was wondering what it the chance that if I sign up, I will later be forced to "retrain" and get another, bad, job, like infantry. I know the Army has garenteed MOS, but how does that affect job chances?

We don't seem to have made enough progress in Iraq or Afganistan. In many ways both countries appear more dangerous. The minds and the hearts of the people in those countries are not very supportative to American policies. I suppose that both countries will eventually have civil wars, political unrest and then end up as Taliban or Islamic Fundamentalists countries. Can anything be done to stop this from happening?

My wife is having lots of problems due to medication for high blood pressure prescribed by a military doctor. I dont think that this doctor cares at all. Would Tricare charge us if we went to an emergency room out in town and not on base?

Why is the State allowed to prosecute(and win) cases against firearm manufacturers for someone using one of their guns in a crime. If Ford was sued for a drunk driver in an F-150 killing someone or Boeing being sued for a terrorist hijacking a plane, the case would be immediately thrown out. What is the difference between these. So are people are held responsible for their actions except when a gun is used, so if a gun is used it's the maker or the gun it's self at fault rather than the criminal who pulled the trigger?

if not he wants to send me back to my country. I came to the U.S. last year being a K-1 visa holder and a few weeks later my husband and I got married. Around April this year I have recieved a temporary green card that allows me to stay and work legally over here. In order to qualify for the citizenship my husband and I have to stay together for next two years (since the day I've recieved the green card) and after that nobody would be able to force me to leave the country. Now that I'm pregnant my husband wants to to separate and send me to my country, while he would be sending me the money. Unfortunately I just cannot come back. I have mom that I have to take care for and a baby on the way. If I leave U.S. all of us have no future. I wanted to stay here and finish my college ASAP to be able to take care of the baby myself. Finishing college in my country is impossible for reasons that it's too long to write about. Does anyone think I could be protected by law in this situation?

By this i mean way back in the early 1800s, the Supreme Court Judge John Marshall gave the power to declare whether or not a law is unconstitional or not to the Judicial branch in a very famous Supreme Court Case. Well, it still stands today, and was just recently used and stopped the wire-tapping because they declared it unconstitutional. But since the Judicial Branch did that, does that mean what it does unconstitutional, since it's job is to punish criminals, and not create laws?(It created a law by saying this law was null, just like the emancipation proclamation towards slavery, a law to get rid of another law)

As professional Law enforcement Officers we need to be able to use torture like we always have in the good old days.

If we have a suspect, we need to be able to torture them by all means necessary in order to get them to confess the crimes that they have committed.

We want to make them give up their suppliers, tell us where they have the dope hidden.

Tell us what, where, and when they have committed crimes.

We need the public to support us in our endeavors to fight crime.

We want to stop everyone from smoking dope out there and we need the publics support to use torture.

We have been torturing suspects anyways but a lot of times it results in senseless lititation. We need the money to fight crime.

We need John Q. Publics Support to torture suspects on U.S. soil.

Will you support us, otherwise we'll keep doing it anyway and you the public will have to pay for the lawsuits anyways.

We're just trying to help the public.

While Saddam killed tens of thousands during the 70's and 80's, the Sudanese government is killing hundreds of thousands every year. The moral Christian thing would be to support Tutu's call for action to stop the genocide in Sudan, but the Republican government ignores the hundreds of thousands of deaths in the Sudan. Why don't we stop the killing today instead of wasting billions on the crimes committed decades ago?

Not moving to stop this slow moving holocaust in Darfur may become Bush's greatest shame in the future. Why does America ignore the atrocities of today in favor of crimes from yesterday?

You cannot possibly understand the culture of the middle east, the same as they can't understand the culture of impersonal greedy society-less globalisation that exists in the west.

My boyfriend and i have been seeing eachother for almost a year. He's a single father of two toddlers and an active duty marine. He's somewhat changed with me.. not as caring and as sweet as he was before. He's not really given me as much attention as before either and it makes me feel very very bad. I've also come to think that he's not in love with me anymore, that he see's me as a friend. now all he does is complain and just talk to me about his work. I became upset over all of this and went on a vacation for a few days and once i came back everything seemed to be better than ever but he's started to not have time for me again... i've told him how i felt but he doesnt seem to get it. i've become very frustrated over the situation and sometimes i feel like calling in quits just cause i feel like i cant take it anymore.. i dont want him to feel unwanted or anything because i really love him. I just feel that if he were to spend some time on his own again it would help our relationship

If your American born, been in the same neighborhood all your life and watched it turn into little or big mexico you wouldn't ask this question! Move to Houston and you might as well move to mexico. Better speak spanish , because mexicans have a large support base and don't want to buy, spend or trade with anyone that speaks English.or that is non-mexican!Don't wave a mexican flag for their broke *** country, because they want to rune ours. Secure the borders and deport law breakers, Asap.OUR SOVEREIGNTY DEPENDS ON IT! Crime, drugs & gang punks not included, those come extra at a large cost!
Last year 20 billion American dollars was sent to mexico, that helps Mexico's corrupt goverment, drug dealers and coyote smugglers destroy our country and change our land scape. not counting the social burden on American tax payers, for drug enforcement, welfare, medical emergengy care, bilingual forms and teachers. If mexicans really want to be Americans, support or immagration laws& learn english?
