Using the Bush administrations own definition of "terrorism," one need not look far to see that America itself is the biggest terrorist out there. We routinely attack other countries without provocation. In the 80's, Reagan invaded and/or funded invasions in El Salvador and Nicaragua. In the 90's, Clinton bombed the living hell out of the Sudan. And now, Bush is attacking Afghanistan and Iraq. An interesting note is that when Russia did the same thing (attack Afghanistan), America was the first to call the action deplorable. All of these left thousands upon thousands of innocents dead. All of this is "justified" by Americans. Yet, as soon as it happens to us, the same actions are so evil, we can't even understand how they could ever happen in a civilized society. The unpleasant bottom line is that 9-11 was merely a retaliatory strike against a nation with a long history of murder all over the globe.

To the person who posted this:
"you lib traitors will not last long in this forum.
REPORTED"

I'm unclear why you reported this post. Did he not ask a question? He didn't slander anyone?

Grow up.

The whole point of different parties in government is to keep a balance. People are way far to the left, and people are way far to the right. It's what makes this country work, and it makes it NOT a dictatorship.

Get your facts straight.

Besides, Bush said himself the other day something about understanding that some people are NOT for the war, but that does not make them unpatriotic. Look it up yourself. It was in the interview with Matt Lauer.

So who are YOU to judge who is unpatriotic? Grow up.

If you don't like the way the war is being prosecuted, and most of us don't, then in THIS country, the way it works is we let our leaders know about it.

Believe me, politicians are used to being criticized. It's the big loud moths on tv and radio that make all this noise about "you guys are traitors!" but I'd have to say that even the politicians I DON'T like seem to be professionals. They know full well how this works, and are more than willing to listen to public opinion and work as our representatives. You're not hurting their feelings by disagreeing.

It's your government. Work with them.

Excellent use of logic(seriously). Our nation is quite a bit more conservative than most other first world countries. But why attack ourselves? Shouldn't it be the other more liberal nations attacking us for being extremists? We could simply vote against incumbents once in a while. I think that would be more effective.

No, not at war, but we need to watch him very closely to make sure that he doesn't do something that the country will regret more then what he has done already.

Get real. we are not all perfect, even you!

Actually, most of us are conservatives. Attitudes, up-brining,
individuality, I'll do what I want attitude, and don't tell me what to do.
Somebody generations ago probably dubbed our family as a
democrat and we have been stuck with that.
We don't like being controlled, nor should we.

Those are your extremists, if you're talking about revolution they will be calling you the extremist and locking you up unless you defect to the other side.
