Black helicopters notwithstanding, oil prices dropped like a stone when he began investing heavy government dollars in alternative fuel research. Politics can and do cause fluctuations in oil prices. Don't pass off cynicism as knowledge.

It's amazing how our do nothing Congress have slammed the hammer down on the oil companies and have them shaking in their boots . Their massive investigation into price fixing has once again conquered the Goliath of greed .This really has me concerned that the oil industry will not have enough money to contribute to the GOP and Bush might end his friendship with them .For every .50 a gallon that gas goes up the oil companies make 50 billion dollars , so if they raise gas back up after the November elections the GOP will be smiling again . This will be fun to watch as I said to my wife 3 months ago that gas prices should be dropping pretty soon because November is almost upon us. See, miracles do happen , have you ever seen gas drop so fast before!
