You cannot possibly understand the culture of the middle east, the same as they can't understand the culture of impersonal greedy society-less globalisation that exists in the west.

It is true. You have to have extensive knowledge to under stand either culture. Both are constantly misjudged and the fact that they are both more complicated then they seem is commonly over looked by alot of people. Why did someone tell you that?

It sounds like the truth.
America has become brainwashed by our own twisted media. We don't know who to believe anymore. At what point do people wake up and see globalization happening?
I can say things like this and I love my country. The reason I can is because I think for myself. I don't let a politician spoonfeed me what I believe. It is a sad sad day when American citizens stop thinking for themselves.
When your going through your homeland security checkpoint, when all your rights are lost, when these people can and will search you without a warrant remember the people that voted for this tyrant.
