What is the proper way to hang an American flag on the wall, if hanging it vertically instead of the traditional horizontal way. Should the stars go on the left or right?

Remember, it's veritcal i.e. the stripes are running up and down.

I keep hearing Republicans crowing about the fact that we haven't been attacked in since 9/11/2001 and claiming that is proof that we are winning the war on terror.

Who else thinks this is complete nonsense? Do you really think we are safer now than we were then? If so how?

The peoples of Mexico and Canada are fine people. Their countries are not much unlike our own. In one nation, UNA, yes the mexican people would initially migrate north; but the U.S.& Canadian money would also go south building on the beautiful Pacific & Gulf Coasts. Eventually it would all even out, we'd extend our wealth to the south and provide commerce there. That would end outsourcing & create a more level playing field. Aren't these imigration laws racist? Isn't that why you support them (if you do?). If we united then they wouldn't be illegal imigrants, what's your arguement then? Only the American-Indians are native here, the rest of our families came here for opportunity, prosperity and freedom. I see a United North America as one nation under God with freedom and opportunity for all! Welcome! .....(Mexicans & Canadians are not terrorists, so don't go there).

This is some person who continually stirs up hatred and thinks he is funny. He was doing this blackman Suthern man for awhile. He lacks intelligence and the capability to make the world a better place by discussing positive things.
Besides most of them here are not from Mexico they are from South American countries and say they are from Mexico so that if they get deported they are sent to Mexico not to their respective South American Countries that are further away so it is faster for them to return.
he said pinches your mother he wants to pinch your mother he cannot speak read or write Spanish indicating that he does not even know the most basic of Spanish and because of the structure he is a Native English speaker probably caucasian

I am absolutely of the opinion that the leaders of the Republican party (I wouldn't say everybody, exactly) and many Republican politicians are rich businesspeople who make lots of money on stocks, etc. based on their policies, with very little concern for how it affects America.

A lot of Democrats are rich stockholders as well. Could it be a sham... a little show for us to watch? They stand up for us and lose, and continue making money in the process? Or do they continue making money off Republican policy to cut their losses?

Or a little bit of both

Wouldn't the best thing the Democratic party could do be to completely deny all corporate funding? A lot of people don't trust corporations, don't trust politicians because of their proximity to corporations, and the Democrats already operate on a much lower campaign fund... we're not really willing to be a one-party system just because one of the parties doesn't have any money, are we?

I worked manipulated shifts & positions to try & make me QUIT! After 1st Unemp. Hearing told L&IRC APPEAL Mgr. "LIED UNDER OATH". That got me DISCHARGED cause he did not like being called a lier! Yet month later they requested hearing to prevent me from unemployment$$$ AGAIN, had a witness LIE, Mgr. lied again. They won again! Now i have evedence to prove they lied but inadmissable in Circuit Court of Appeals because it was not in Hearing - which I did not know what eveidence needed.

Since I have evidence after the fact to prove PERJURY, told to drop Appeal and sue directly with charges of Defamation of Character, Slander & Libel, Asked for letter of discharge which has the lies rather then the fact "Manager did not like being called a LIAR"...

Any ideas or alternative suggestions???

I haven't seen it, of course, but I kind of doubt that Bush and his administration come out smelling like a rose. Why aren't they forcing ABC to give up their freedom of speech by threatenting to take away their broadcasting license?

This question is in NO way intended to "start" anything with any countries, as I have the ultimate respect for our allies.

Do you think that our allies (England, Germany, etc.) would feel vunerable (economicaly and security) if the United States was not the world power it is today? Also, do you think the europian union would be as powerful as it is today if it wernt for America?

Please no hate posts, this is a question for educational purposes.

Thanks

Before you object do some research on rejected bills submited by Democrats. You will find that republicans have voted against bills that would call for investigation into the corruption of Haliburton and also endless bills meant to give our troops more armour and supplies vital to their well-being. Is that "Supporting our Troops"?

Maybe it's time you take a long hard look at your "support our troops" bumper stickers and think about whether our not your voting to help them or help Haliburton.
