Do you base your selection on who best reiterates your point of view? Or do you base your selection on the best written, interesting, funny answer, regardless of whether not they agree with your position? I don’t think one way is better than the other, I’m just curious about what you guys do.

The American Police are basically burning the U.S. Constitution. Corrupt Cops will search you and imprison you without probable cause.
They no longer require a search warrant. The Cops will lie and say that they had probable cause to search you even though there was none.
The cops will lie and say that you gave them permission to search when you didn't.
Does anybody know how you can beat lying corrupt police in a Federal Court for Illegally searching the vehicle without probable cause.
I was driving a car and the Cops asked me to search the vehicle. I told them "no". Does that give them probable cause? Did they then have the right to remove my passenger and then search my passenger and the entire vehicle without a search warrant.
After the probable cause hearing the cops told the judge that we gave permission to search and then at the station the police tried to get me to sign a consent to search form under threat of being electrically stunned. Is this legal?

Ok so we're always hearing how civil war is the worst possible outcome in Iraq.
With everything being the way it is, there seems to be little to anything we can do to actually prevent civil war long-term. Since it's what the people of Iraq obviously want, so why not just let them have it. Innocents will die of course, but s**t happens, it's war. The US had a bad one, and we came out ok.
So why not pull U.S. troops, let the Sunnis and the Shites sort it out for the next number of years until there's a clear winner. and once there is, work with the leader of the winning side to get access to the oil (since that's the only reason we're there in the first place, really). And if the new leader doesn't want to play nice, take him out like we did Saddam...let civil war ensue again...repeat ad nauseism.
Maybe it's not all touchy-feely like "LETS SPREAD DEMOCRACY!" but still wouldn't it be a better way since it it frees up our military/money for things that actually might make a difference.

Living in this great country is beyond awesome compared to other countries, but if we sit back and not make sacrifice, and stand against ivasion justified by liberal pipe dreams and big biz? Will the wealthy slave drivers feeding off the so called cheap labor trade our American culture for a third world type culture as in Mexico were you are Rich or poor? When you read the news you hear about poverty and minimum wage, a lot, perhaps too much relative to the actual head count, but you NEVER hear about how well the economy is doing.
How many people, not a percentage of the population, but the real head count, live below the poverty level? I do some work with non-profits and when I see their numbers it is a miniscule number of people and it seems they choose to do so.
How many people as the sole source of income for the household exist on the minimum wage? In the same group I work with we do not have a single household that lives solely on the minimum wage.
Is fast growth of the GDP (>4.6%) a good thing or bad, and why do you think that? It seems that really fast speculative based growth always leads to a pretty steep recession, like the 90's lead to the 2001 recession. Is not consistent slow steady growth a better measure of how we are doing?
What are the real numbers? Please provide a link to your source of data.
