One thing is sure, President Bush has gotten the United States in a position that we have no choice but to continue wasting money and young soldiers in Iraq. This war was not about getting a democracy in Iraq, but to prove too all that the mighty U.S. would get revenge for 911. Bush made it happen and he should end it! Or at least be held responsible, and I think that will go down in the history books that way if a Republican is not in charge of keeping the record straight. You can't trust Republicans, that is the only thing Bush has brought out while he has been President.

And what do you think would happen if the US left a nation on the brink of civil war? That the death and mayhem would just stop? Please. Don't tell me you can really be this stupid. I am not a big fan of the War in Iraq. The US made a mess of things over there. But when people make a mistake, they should try to fix it. That is exactly why the troops should NOT come home yet.

We cant just pull out . Iran and Syria are waiting to destabilize that country the second we leave. We must remain right now. I think however we must look at other approaches. The military alone cant win that war or any war by itself. We need a comprehensive rebuilding plan , a stable Iraqi government and some changes in our policy before we can safely leave.

We continue to believe limited influence is going to change the average joes mind. It won't, not even in a free thinking country which Iraq is not. We need to change our tactics or get out because we are wasting everyones time as things now stand. That we are technically advanced in evrything else, makes no sense to be backward in our warring efforts too. Its like we refuse to use our brains when guns are the final natural tool. That we don't employ think tanks effectively says were not being led with wisdom.

consistent with danger you are going to be certain in what context Iraq is a conflict. iraq is an occupied united states. Occupied international locations often rally a resistence via their human beings against their occupiers. in this context how precisely does the worldwide 'terrorist' slot in? have been the French resistence in WWII terrorists using fact they battled the Germans who occupied their united states? of direction many s**t disturbers have pored into Iraq which grew to become into best for civil and non secular strife if every physique ever broke down the as quickly as element that united the folk of that united states - concern of their repressive government. Iraq is particular to interrupt into numerous international locations with Iran rising as a close-by skill and the real winner of this 'adventure'. to attempt to be so black and white and say they're terrorists who 'hate freedom' is easy stupid...they see this conflict as a conflict for his or her very own freedom this is a great irony.

what i cant understand is how do u fight a war on an idea? r they gonna come arrest everyone who even thinks a thought against the US? this "war on terror" will last forever! there will always be these ideas.
i think the terrorists have won anyways. everytime u go to the airport and u practically need to get dressed, when u have to throw away all liquids before boarding, when u wait in a security line for 2 hours THEYVE WON. theyve taken away our freedom. im not for the terrorist, but they sure must feel proud of themselves now.

what has the US come to?

They should've never gone there. The world is more dangerous now and I am afraid that we are going to have to stay in Iraq for a whole generation before the problem is fixed. Bush and Cheney should be made to go live there until things are fixed.

The death toll is miniscual compared to any other war we have fought. And though for each family that has suffered a loss, their loss is insurmountable. Most of them realize that their children volunteered. They were brave. They fought so we wouldn't have to suffer here. They fought for the thousands of men, women, and children in mass graves in Iraq, they fought for the millions Sadam would have killed with the chemical weapons they found a month or so ago, they found for the surrounding nations that have suffered Sadam's tyranny, they fought because they took an oath to serve GOD AND COUNTRY. They were men and women of valor, integrity, perseverance, and discipline. They fought for a cause, for a president they respect, and for a country they love. Stop using people that died for you to make a point THEY WOULD NOT MAKE. They didn't die for you to whine and undermine their efforts.

Yes certainly the death toll in Iraq war made by USA is bigger than the toll of Eleventh September toll in New York itself
.American forces and other foreign forces should leave Iraq as soon as possible. The people of Iraq do hate foreign forces. They do not want to be invaded. They want to be free as a souvereign country.American forces have a bad mission that is killing the people of Iraq by bombing and shooting.Let the people of Iraq be governed by the people of Iraq themselves who are elected.. democratically..The war casualties of foreign forces and the people of Iraq. should be stopped, as soon as possible by withdrawing all foreign forces.
