As a Liberal, I sold all of my food stamps for the last 3 months, and to go along with all of the money my wife makes prostituting, i just brought home a 60' plasma big screen!

Yes America is Great!!! If you had ever been to other countries and experienced how people are treated both by their governments and the aristocrats that have profited by their governments abuses, then you wouldn't have to ask that question. You might still be on food stamps, and be married to a prostitute, but you wouldn't be proud of it. Because, you would have had a choice. Hope you enjoy your Big Screen TV.

The only problem I have in my country are people with this attitude. If you need help, that's fine. I don't mind that some of the money that I desperately need in order to go to college and learn how to make my life better goes to help people who really need it. You, however, need to get off of your lazy butt and actually do something to support your family. Having your wife sell herself is disgusting and vulgar. You ought to be ashamed of yourself, taking advantage of people like that. I know of some people who need the food stamps and can't get them because of those of you who take advantage of the system. America is a wonderful country and I think more people should support it and its ideals. I also think people like you should be deported.
Also, while I am an independent who generally does not agree with the liberals, I would ask that you quit embarrassing the rest of them by saying that all liberals are like that. It is unfair and completely what this country stands for in order to generalize that someone lives a certain way because of their political beliefs. It is entirely stupid, pointless, and degrading.

As an American, you are also open to some of the greatest health care offered in the history of man kind. You get to vote, and voice you opinion any way that you want - even if you sound like an idiot. Yes things cost money, yes people can get caught up in materialist ways but people also have the ability to show through. To become the best without being told what to do. Ask a person in sudan if they are proud of their goverment, or even ethiopia- ask them how rich their life is with either riches or knowing that you in a great country.
