OK, I am wasting 5 points here, but Evil Avatar and Bunt. GO TO YOUR CORNERS.

This is supposed to be a section on immigration. Not someone's opinions of other races or statistics on crime.

Geez, it makes me wonder why I ever came back to immigration. Why can't we have intelligent questions about issues that affect this. There are many I disagree with who can put their arguments succinctly enough to where although I disagree, they have made their point.

I don't mean to be preachy here, admittedly it may be too late cuz this is sounding awfully preachy, BUT, lets get back to issues, OK?

I am a Canadian with light brown hair, green eyes, and white skin who is attending a university in the United States. If I were a Mexican could I be doing this right now or would I not be allowed because of the fear that I might stay and work here?

Plus, all of my friends-white or Hispanics have been attacked by blacks, never by whites. WHy is it so?

Explain something to me. Most Democrats have similar political beliefs to the National Socialist Party. Why then is it so vogue to compare conservatives to Nazis when in reality most of the political beleives of liberals are parallel to the Nazis?

Just food for thought.

Back in the day where the man worked and the wife stayed home, people could afford a home and a car without having the wife work. Now with women working, there is an increase workforce which means lower pay per person because it has to be dividied evenly.

Do you agree with that statement, and what do you think about this?

Does a woman have a realistic chance to run for & win the US Presidency in the near future?

I find it astonishing that there has never been a serious woman contender for the US presidency!

Is it because the US electorate fears that a woman can not handle the job and might not look as Presidential?

Or is it just chauvinism?

I realize that zoning laws vary from municipality to municipality, but I'm just curious about what they usually say about people coming to your home to do services for you. For example, home physical therapy, massage, that kind of thing. Do zoning regulations generally have anything to say about what kind of services you receive in your home?

The following quote is not from a conservative believe it or not.

Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."
-- Herman Goering at the Nuremberg trials

You think this tactic is being used?

I know it was a long time ago, but I have never understood why or how he got re-elected. Was it the "don't chnage horses in midstream" argument, or the smears against John Kerry, or what?

I don't see the attraction of the man at all and am curious as to what people see in him.
