i think we can agree we all want them home alive in one piece so then it boils down to purpose.

rumsfeld told us he knew exactly where the WMDs were. then we were told this was about freeing repressed iraqis. now we hear a civil war is coming.......the US has two options- send more to die or cut and run.

The US has changed the laws about pre-emtive nuclear stikes in the name of the war on terror. Bush no longer has to go to Congress to initiate a war he only has to sit through a 20 min advisory meeting that will allow him to use nukes on a non nuclear country Mini nukes are being sold as safe for civilain populations and as bunker busters for underground nuclear facilties.

If the US takes this bold step - will Russia and China just siot back and hope they are not next? Or will the international back lash happen in a very real very military stike against the US ?

In short how safe will the world be if the US attacks Iran using nukes? Would not other countries be justified in attacking the source that used such weapons? What would stop them it would be the Americans putting all nations of the world in a them or us situation - How long will China Russia and others ponder that before the US is only a histroy class with no need for geography?

Quite obviously, not everyone here shares the same educational background and experience. Is the definition of a relevant political word like "conservative" relevant or useful to our younger, less educated participants? I would be happy to post the definition. I have not the slightest fear of any English word!

Is there a legal way to keep a father from seeing the baby? He left when I was 4 months pregnant and only asks about her when he isn't busy. I am now going to court for support, but really don't want him to see her. He is into drugs and other things. When we were together he said he had stopped all of it and it was all a lie. Can I only vote for the representatives from my home district? Or can I vote for ANY representatives from ANY district?

If I can only vote for one district, would it be my home district, or the district I am in at the time of the elections? I ask this because I am initially from the San Francisco Bay Area, but will be in Los Angeles at the time of the elections (I am a student at UCLA).

I live in Illinois and the police have asked questions and I admitted to what i took which was under 500.oo but my boss says a whole lot more which is not true . This is not cash but little stupid things .
The police have scheduled a polygraph for a month away so no lawyer yet but what am i looking at and what is the charge officially called? My first offence and no record.

not only the United states have demanded that iran stop enriching uranium, the U.N, has also ordered it. why are we allowing them to continue enriching? do you think we should take action on Iran before they devolup a nuclear bomb? because if iran devolups a nuclear bomb, then they will sell those bombs to terrorist and then they would strike America the first chance they get.should we stop iran before they kill Americans? what type of action do you think we should take?
