I've never been against Mexicans or immigration as long as it is legal but you just made a great point...your "question" explained exactly why so many American citizens are against Mexicans coming here legally or illegally. You don't want to be an American. You want to USE US. You aren't interested in becoming a citizen; you want what's not yours to have. That's not what America is about. You can't speak, read or write our language but you want to vote? you think your vote should help decide who leads our country? you want to take America from us? That doesn't cut it, amigo! You can march till your legs fall off ; produce as many babies as you can produce; but until (or if) you become a legal American citizen, we don't march to your mariachi band, buster! If you don't like the way America is doing things, take your sombrero and run back over the border and stay. We won't miss people like you.

Before you get the right to vote, you have to at least be elligible to pay taxes in this great nation of mine. You get to choose the government, you have to pay for it. Can't really do that if you're an illegal immigrant. March all you want though, it's good exercise. That's all you'll get out of it. I seriously doubt Texas will want to defect from the U.S.
