The current president is in office because he was put there by the established (putatively democratic) system. Are the people who voted for him to blame for his failures (if he has any!), or is Bush himself to blame?

I try not to play the blame game.

Live is more peaceful when I forgive and forget.

I figure he's actually doing what he thinks is right, based on his conditioning. As are you and I.

Love thy enemy.

First, Bush was not put in office by an established system. He gained office through fraud and a series of violations which robbed thousands of American citizens of their most basic right and he did it almost without opposition, thanks to the "opposition party" who are so worried about being politically correct that they dared not say anything at all ontoward. Being a failure is nothing new to George W. Bush. He has manuevered his way through life carefully avoiding hard work, education, self improvement or any of those other boring things not appropriate to a rich, spoiled wastrel. He will be remembered for being the most unaccomplished man to ever become President of the U.S. And you people who voted for him are a disgrace to the nation. If you don't know s..t, act in a responsible manner and just stay home on election day. But you are not responsible for his failures.

OK I guess we do this again. Its Civics 101 no ONE MAN can be blamed or credited with actions or non actions. Why? Very simple we have a system of checks and balances. Bush alone can do nothing! He needs approval by Congress and the reverse is same as well! Now you could (maybe) blame a party but not the man! Do you consider the Irag war a failure well then blame our Government NOT Bush the war was approved by Congress almost 100% this included yes votes by both Sen John Kerry and Joe Lieberman! No you cant blame or credit any one man

BUSH, CHENEY, RICE, ROVE! All of them deserve the blame for this administrations failures! The voting public deserves the blame for putting these crooks into office for their second term.

I didn't vote for him either time...don't blame me. The public voted for a moron and got what they deserved. This guy makes Millard Filmore (the undisputed worst president in history) look like Lincoln. Hold onto your a** cause it's only going to get worse (can you say nuclear war). He is being played like a fiddle by Iran and will back himself into a corner where the only option left will be "push the button George"...yeah go big red...nice job you morons in Dumbfuckistan!

He's the one who made the decisions. The voters had no say so in that.

And luv_life, don't blame us voters in FL, we got ripped off big time! I didn't vote for Bush. Florida was not the sole state that decided that election.

we all, are to blame,,,, Bush wants support for his war in Iraq,, says our lives depend on America's winning there,,, that Democrats are wrong,, we either agree with him or we are going to lose in Iraq,,, so things go well,,, he's off the hook,, things go bad,,, blame Democrats... typical Republican,, talks out of both sides of his mouth,,,, he needs to take a page from Shakespeare,,, and see that the black-white ,, stay the course,, can be,,, not win or lose,,, but play smarter,,, somewhere along the line he never learned to finesse,, to reply,, not just respond,,,, he doesn't have the right to ask Americans to be with him or with terrorists,,,, Bush is not only wrong,, he his immoral,,,

Bush campaigned to the people, telling them that he would do certain things and not others. I think that blaming the ones that put him there would be really passing the buck.

I didn't vote him in (either time). I am confident in saying that he should own up to his mistakes (lying, violating rights, and so on). I am a firm believer that everyone should own up to their own mistakes and pay for them.

The stupid liberals who are killing this country deserve the blame, not Bush. Bush is just a scapegoat for all the pus*y liberals.
