Unfortunalty I don't beleive that most of the American public is ready to vote for a woman, regardless of her politics or her ability..it is very unfortunate but true...

Yes but not now. We are fighting Muslim extremists. If we elect a woman Prez now, many Muslims would take that as a sign for permanent Jihad/war against us.
Hopefully Family Court will become fairer to children & divorced fathers by then.
Studies show women are more sexist at work than men. Piss off one woman & all of the women at work won't talk to the guy. Even if he is innocent.
Humans can't accept we are all imperfect and make mistakes. Being sexually prejudiced comes with being human. However this is not to say men are not prejudiced...it still behooves me when guys don't think women are smart.
Women try so hard to have patience with us guys. A woman in love will do everything to help us including giving us WISE advice.
This is seen by many guys as nagging. It is up to us to take their advice and/or suffer the consequences...ouch! Women have innate abilities men don't have & vice versa.
The sexes have different priorities, different backgrounds, are socialized & treated differently & grow up differently.

I would like to think so.
Most Western countries have had women leaders at some point in the recent history. I don't see why a women can't handle being the President of the United States.
I would like to see it :) It might be good for the US and not only in the eyes of the world

Elizabeth Dole is the best hope for a woman presidential candidate in 2008... with a chance of winning.
Hillary won't survive the primaries. And if by some chance she did, her socialist politics scare away so many moderates that she'd act as the Republican's secret weapon.

Not now. Not after witnessing Blanco's massive screwups in Louisiana. I think she set back that part of the woman's movement by at least a decade.
Though I think you'll see a non-white president before you see a woman president.

I have to laugh at these 'enlightened' fools who will vote for a woman pres because they think its time for someone with a vagina to control the country. Next, perhaps hemaphrodites will be the group to "deserve" it. Let's not worry about anyone's merits...just tell them to drop their pants and we'll decide according to their genitalia!!
