It's no secret that Iran is fueling a lot of the sectarian violence in Iraq. If we pull out, won't it make it easier for Iran to expand its influence in the oil-rich Shiite section? Iran doesn't need to formally invade to gain control of Iraqi oil...they just need to dominate the Shia sect.

Can we risk giving Iran a blank check by our pulling out of Iraq?

wiretap if you want but I don't see whats the problem with getting a court approval 72 hours after you've done it.
Does Bush just not like paperwork?

LOL. Just got this off of another answer.

Google "failure" now, before it gets fixed. You may get a little laugh out of the day.

Heck, I know there is a Republican reading this. You can do it also. I didn't create it, don't know who did...I just think it's funny!

I have no respect or use for this USA. I served but I now say "I'm sorry for what I have done to the world in the name of the USA. I will soon tear up my DD Form 214 on CNN and then spit on the American Flag. Then I will walk away very proud. Of course before I walk away proud I will wipe my feet on the red white and blue. This is my freedom and I'm going to use it. If you are a veteran you can respond to this. If you are not a Veteran then you can not say anything to me. I served 6 years for the right to step on my American flag. ( Note:..My American Flag was made in Communist China and bought at Wal Mart )

When unchecked power is equal to totalitarianism? And could be used to commit crimes against Americans or even to overthrow our government?

I didn't lose my left leg and arm in vietnam to be called a coward.
I went and fought in vietnam , and now that i've grown to a pathetic old age,i no longer see things in some romancized form, i see reality, i realize that all that fighting all those so called heroic deeds were all pointless.
Whats so wrong that I don't want my son to die in a pointless war!?

Only 1 % of Americans work for minimun wage. It is a hardship for hardly employable people to lose thier minimun wage jobs.

Will there eventually be a war where a Middle Eastern country will need to get beaten so badly that its remaining civilians won't accept radical militant groups in their country?

Has this type of situation ever turned out a different way?

I say deported and you say reported

I like a master story telling shake and you like a amateur pervert cup flake.

I hate the crime and you hate doing time.

You think your hot and I think your not

You try crying and I ain't buying

You clean the toilet and I just soil it.

Your going home and and I won't moan

Pros don't see the light but I'm very bright.

Know anymore? On your view ? Think hard.

Don't they take into consideration the hand me downs. Seems like a lot of the wealthy didn't have to do squat for it. Why do they like to defend worthless people like Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, etc.. Seems if they didn't have daddy's money they'd be on welfare and the reps would be constantly whining about giving them handouts..

...one's ability to exploit others for one's own good?

Granted businesses succeed/fail based upon viability but regardless - every business that is successful and results in one individual's disproportionate amassing of wealth garners that wealth from the exploitation of others to some degree.

CEOs exploit their workers and reap the benefits of others' labors.
Even lottery winners benefit at the exploitation of the losers.

?

Considering we are all equal in the eyes of God; why does the GOP party (which by and large is the God-touting party although their actions by and large are an abomination to scripture - go figure) endorse with such zeal the exploitation of the masses for the benefit of the few?

This philosophy also seems to be in direct contradiction of the GOP party's other supposed tenet of "get Big Brother Gov't off my back" as the party without fail benefits the wealthiest of the exploiters while ignoring the needs of America as a whole.

The UN has the right idea with an open forum for diplomacy but the war in Lebanon shows how long it takes to stop the violence. Do you think we will ever see a United Earth, if not why, if yes then how do you think it will come about?
