I would, but we need a more immediate change. Once we have stopped completely screwing up the world, then I will cast my vote for what I actually believe and not just what will accomplish my immediate goals.

Joe, thank you to your clever question. I disagree for sure with your premise, because i'd want that the two events flow to the left. i'm Liberal, and in many cases vote Democrat. I agreed with lots of Ron Paul's "Republican" positions in 2008. of direction electorate vote on values, yet different factors come into it, even custom. if your loved ones has consistently voted Republican, no longer vote casting Republican would look particularly much like changing churches. i think of that the Republican party is locked now in a warfare between the main suitable wing and the moderates, and specific won't bend lots from that place interior the close to destiny. The Democrats would look plenty left to you, yet its very confusing for me to comprehend the unusual centrist place they have completely assumed. i like the assumption of breaking far off from those events lots greater useful: possibly the Libertarians could %. up electorate if the Republican party schisms, then if a real revolutionary party emerges on the left, the Libertarians would have a wager to %. up some Liberals here and there, and for a at a similar time as a minimum of, there could be 3 or 4 events, with possibly, one or the two between the old events going extinct. the considerable situation with third events is they start to %. up adequate seats to alter right into a real possibility to the foremost events. basically then they'd %. up investment and create a conflict chest to catch the presidency.

Uh, Libertarian politicians are still ... politicians, no? And if politicians don't care about me... ?
Follow my point here? It's not a good sales pitch.
Nor is the Libertarian foreign policy of isolationism, which will do the US and the world little good. Nor do I agree with the cavalier treatment of marriage, as if traditional marriages and families were not the basis and foundation of civilization.
I agree with the fiscal stuff, and the personal freedoms and liberty stuff.
Unfortunately, after seeing how 3rd party Perot got us Clinton, many of us are hesitant to support 3rd parties, lest it result in Democrat victories.
