When unchecked power is equal to totalitarianism? And could be used to commit crimes against Americans or even to overthrow our government?

Unfortunately, many Republicans are ruled by fear and are shortsighted. They're willing to sacrifice anything to prevent another terrorist attack, and they can't see how this power could be abused in the future.

To those Republicans who see no problem with warrantless wiretaps: would you feel comfortable with Hillary Clinton and a Democratic Congress having that power?

Best answer in my opinion.... Have you seen Enemy of the State? Perfect comparison... And I was military intel in the Army, don't ever think that movie isn't based on fact, because that movie may be hollywood, but the real life situations that occur are very similar, I know because I use to sit at the desk.

Uh, we're not. We just like thwarting terrorists' plots to kill us. You know, listen in to what the terrorists are planning. You know, like last week when they were planning to blow up 10 planes with liquid explosives going from Great Britain to the Unites States. We just don't like Americans being blown up by Al Qaeda...Call us crazy...
