I just turned 16 this past June. My mother and I have come to a fight, and I can't stand her anymore, for reasons I do not wish to disclose, except that she is mentally and verbally abusive in my opinion. For almost a year now, I have toyed with the idea of moving out, and I can be financially independent, but I have no idea if the law will allow me, without a lot of red tape and Mom's permission, and/or me reporting her. I don't wish to report her, seeing as, since I am the youngest, I don't have any worry about 'protecting' any others and that I don't want to cause myself or the rest of the family any grief. So, is there a way for me to get out without worrying about all this?

War costs are difficult to peg exactly. For starters the DOD can't be audited; We can't know the amount of interest that will accrue on the money borrowed to fund the war; We won't know the cost of lifetime care for the critically wounded soldiers and the extent of assistance for their families; Stated figures for the cost of the war have been based on what's been spent so far.

I'm getting really sick of this talk about illegal Mexican immigrants and just Mexicans in general. If your so against them why are you giving them so much attention? What's the deal? Okay What is the deal on immagrants and taxes? What's the deal on the welfare and healthcare handouts? In Nevada where I live my friend got fired from work cause she lost her work permit that led me to believe that you cannot work unless you are legal. Yet there are people on here saying they pay taxes and they are illegal. And Do the Illegals really get free health care and welfare and never pay it back? What are the facts? WHY THE TERROR PLOTS ARE FALSE

There are strong reasons to believe that Muslims are not responsible for the recently unveiled terror plots both in Toronto and London. To understand the reasons why these plots are false, one has to begin with himself and think from inside out. I would begin with myself as a Muslim, who shares the beliefs that are attributed to the alleged terrorists, but does not feel compelled to even think about murdering innocent civilians.

An earlier question of mine focused on the emotional outbursts commonly attributed to Liberals as opposed to actual factual discourse regarding Bush. I too am tired of "hating a person" being a sufficient reason to vote against someone, etc.

However, on the Conservative side I also see a lot of "love it or leave it" when legitimate questions are raised. While I do not claim in any way that Bush is not my president (he is), why are you reluctant for ANY questions about him?

Where is the line? What constitutes a "legitimate" question or disagreement? What kind of Liberal or Democratic questioning would you consider "acceptable", if "misguided" in your oppinion?

Questioning the presidency is one thing, and should be castigated... questioning a specific president should be allowed? Why isn't it?
