I've heard this before, too. If it's true, it's making a good start in producing the intended results.
The CDC will happily confirm that black women have more abortions than white women. The stats are a bit misleading in the first set, because it's 55% white vs. 35% black, but when you figure it relative to the counts in the population as a whole, you get the second statistic - #s of abortions vs. #s of live births. Compared to the number of live births, black women have 3 times the abortion rate of white women. Other non-whites have 2 times. This is really about the only statistic that summarizes the situation correctly.
Quoted from the CDC:
In the 41 areas for which race was adequately reported, approximately 55% of women who obtained legal induced abortions were known to be white, 35% were black, and 7% were of other races; for 3% of the women, race was unknown. (Table 9). The abortion ratio for black women (503 per 1,000 live births) was 3.0 times the ratio for white women (167 per 1,000 live births). Additionally, the abortion ratio for women of other races (329 per 1,000 live births) was 2.0 times the ratio for white women. The abortion rate for black women (30 per 1,000 women) was 3.1 times the rate for white women (10 per 1,000 women), whereas the abortion rate for women of other races (22 per 1,000 women) was 2.2 times the rate for white women.

OK, so one of the people who created the organization 90 years ago may also have done some bad things. And Sanger wasn't either the only or the primary founder of Planned Parenthood. It was founded under another name in 1916 by Mary Ware Dennett, who was unaffiliated with Sanger, who didn't enter the picture until almost a decade after its founding.
Besides, it's now 90 years later, and it's hardly the same people involved. So, your allegations are just a pointless distraction and a way to attack an organization that you don't like.

I wouldn't be surprised, but then again, I am a black man & distrustful of government. However, do not put racism on just one side of the political party. Remember, Reagan and his political group of Republicans sold crack in urban (Black) neighborhoods to get money for political parties battling "so-called" Communist in South America. Racism has no political side. Hate is hate....

I'm glad you mentioned this -- I've heard it, too. Abortion doesn't solve the problems brought on by an unplanned pregnancy, it only makes worse ones, for women of any ethnic group.
