Why would anyone want to kill someone who loves and respects them? Maybe we just need to learn to love and respect more instead of war. Give LUV and Respect to yourself and others and it will grow and grow. Your heart will become so big it could crush this town so let down the flood gates and keep on giving :)

To me in a war there is no such thing as good and evil. Both sides are killing. Both sides are lieing about something to their own people. So yeah we do need a hell of a lot more love.

war feels fine as long as other people are dying. If you get caught in it you realize what a curse it is. Unfortunately most Western people of present generation have not experienced the trauma of war... so they can enjoy the wars on picture tubes sitting at home. For most people in the third world there is hardly a choice. Wars are imposed upon them... you can easily trace their sources to the prosperous parts of the world. People cant afford food here, but arms have been made freely available and if you look at where they are manufactured, it will almost surely be one of the advanced countries.

If the neo-colonialists wished there would be absolutely no wars in the world and fundamentalism would become history. But they want it to spread their domain around the world.

Movement towards peace would mean curtailment of the powers of those who are dominant and equality among all peoples. This is very hard for the imperialists to digest though they cannot change the course of history... This fear of loosing dominance is making countries like USA suicidal.

Equally screwed, and Equally screwed. My friend next to me was, at least, as good a guy as I am, so why is his head blown off and not mine?
As I was laying in my friends heart blood, I remember my baptismal bath at 12 years old. It was clear and clean water. It scared me some at the time, because the minister held my head under just long enough to make me doubt if he was going to let me back up.
This baptismal bath is in red water. My friend is floating face down. I have the urge but not the strength to drag him over to me and turn him over.
All I can do is be a witness. It is his bath afterall. But I do not feel anything. I know I will never be the same person, that I don't have any control left over anything. I pee in the water. And I cry without tears.

You answered your question as well as asked. Well in this the 21st Century humans must realize that God gave them the ability to reason and to develop a language. It is way past time humans started to use what God has given them. To learn problem solving techniques and started working on problems in stead of gassing up tanks and planes and off to war, Learn to be an agreeable negotiator and negotiate solutions of disputes. Because in this 21st century we cannot continue to waste our energies, intellect, resources on war and survive on this planet earth.

Let us try an experiment.

You love me and respect me.

I want you to give me your wallet and your car. I am prepared to assault you to get my way.

End of experiment.

As you can see, your enlightened position is wonderful, but only if I choose to go along with it.

My somewhat more barbaric position is more likely to prevail because I do not have to convince you to go along with it. All I have to do is use enough force to overcome your resistance. And by your stated position, I am emboldened because I feel you are weak and unwilling to fight back.

Sooooooooo.......... you can sit around the campfire singing Kumbayah all you want.

I prefer to possess enough arms to deter any aggressor.

Okay, stop smoking the weed and maybe your brain cells will recover. The "hippy" movement went out in the '70s.

i agree most whole-heartedly! the world just needs a little more love!

i think going to war depends on the circumstances...it's a horrible horrible thing but sometimes it is inevitable.

If you think Islamo-facists love you, you are wrong.... please don't be DEAD WRONG.

They do not respect you, if you are not Muslim, they hate you. They want to kill you....

if you allow them to kill you, then YOU can never LOVE anyone or anything again.

Life is for the living and for living.... it is not something to be thrown away on rabid followers of Nazi-Islamo-facism.

Try your theory out with the radical Muslim movement, and tell me how it works out!

Or, plan to have some one else tell me when they find you and your family's bodies.
