What is the worst crime you have ever heard of?

An adult male raped a 9 month old baby girl - he did enough damage to her that she will never be able to have children.

I can no where near try to determine what is the worst crime i have ever heard of but if you want a start in looking in a direction for possiblities. . .Are you farmiliar with what daily life was like for those held in Nazi concentration camps in WWII ? Look up Dr. Josef Mengele, the Angel of Death of the camp Auschwitz for maybe somewhere near the worst just for no other reason than the sheer numbers of victims involved for one serial murderer. Then look up the activities of the CIA trained SAVAK the secret police of the Former Shah of Iran. They would cook people alive in ovens and force feed the body to the victims families. They were also known for torturing small children in front of family members to coerse confessions. There is all sorts of crimes out there that involve horrific murder mutilation and rape but when its not just being perpertrated by a sick individual and is being done by institutionalized evil by a government well the crimes are highly magnified. I guess we could also consider the only two times a nuclear bomb has been dropped on highly populated cities.

The worst crime was when a woman drowned her 5 children.
Another was when one woman chopped her 3 year old child's arms off with an axe. I cried. All off these children died. I hate crimes but especially those which have to do with a child being killed. It is monstrous.

Any Crime as stated somewhere below.... but mostly crime against animals to me. Human can think but they behave like idiots by making weapons which instead of putting to good use, uses it to kill other human beings or animals. World is surely ending soon if this is going to continue. For myself why not instead of making arms, join effort to create this small world a better place to live in.

I think the John Wayne Gacy cases, serial killer. He killed 33 and then hid the bodies 29 under his house in a crawl space, where he had to use lime to control the smell.

Animal Cruelty.-- i have self assurance this way because animals truthfully have unconditional love. they even don't have any thanks to look after themselves verbally. even as they do undesirable issues, they could't provide you a rationalization why, even inspite of the undeniable fact that they have got one. change to my answer: Any crime commited in course of a baby. i'd have typed this one in first, yet on the time, i grow to be gazing my cat nurse her new kittens. So, do not get me incorrect. i recognize what's major.
