Since Bush has been in office, gas prices have soared. I've heard talk shows where they say the president can put a stop to this, is this true..and if so, why hasnt anything been done about this yet?

if I I choose not to continue with the job seekers allowance and just do that job that was , for 8 hours a weeks and the pay is just 38.80 a week , and so low than , can I still get housing benefit and council tax benefit, or do I still need to be on the job seekers,

but the reason I dont want to be on job seekers is because its annoying and they say you have to do some type of course which I dont have time for

and my income is so low

Because when you apply for job seekers you also apply for housing benefit and council tax

How come people think that if you don't support the war you are a traitor to the country and Un-American? Isn't that the kind of mentality that gets countries into trouble...I mean if people just agree'd with everything thier gov't told them and did then we would be taken advantage of. Also can't we learn from other countries who made the same mistake...Im not Comparing America to Nazi Germany but look at that situation. The people in Germany who said.."No war" "No Killing" were murdered themselves..and yes Anti-War protestors aren't being murdered in America but the mentality is the same, Who knows what would happen if our laws were differnt....but thats what makes America, America. Americans will never ever fully agree on everything so why can't we all just accept both sides and try to find some common ground and understanding instead of putting our fellow countrymen down.

After a slightly late night party one of my neighbours knocked on my door and asked us to turn the music down, we apologised and aid we would turn it down.

Obviously he'd been building up a bit of a temper while thre music was pretty loud and he started mouthing of a bit flashed his badge threated seizure of the equipment within 5 minutes then left.

Is he allowed to use his badge in such a way?

I would have thought if he was going to use that he would have to be a police officer to the letter, not swearing or using random threats.

Joe Lieberman has been a front runner for their party for years , he disagrees on 1 issue and they want to crucify him , how does a party even operate like that , there's not a Republican that is pro or anti exactly everything i agree/disagree with but i still stand behind my party , i dont see how they even function

I don't mean to sound unamerican. But I don't know why I should be supporting Israel on this one. They are wrong as hell. Two soldiers get kidnapped and they commence to destroying Lebanon's infrastructure. Never mind the rocket attacks. That started only after Israel bombed the airport.

does anyone have a possible idea for how we could possibly sort out the total and utter mess we are in i.e. education, health, immigrants and guns. Cos i was just wondering, obviously the government cant think of anything (though there all pretty busy with their ranches and millions of pounds) so i was wondeing if anyone else could also does anyone else think that the democracy as we know it in england doesnt actually work, wheres our choice, cant vote in new people cos they dont know or have any experience on running the country and lib dems are best but no experience, conservatives are a bunch of loons and labour they are the fattest bunch of fat cats around....
