No, they are not the Hitler Youth or the SS. Those organizations were motivated for different reasons, and were active members of the government. The ACLU does not stand for its acronym, as they do not try to defend the civil liberties of Americans. They seek to impose minority rule on the majority, and seek to make the judiciary, and not the will of the people, the decider of all things in this nation. The ACLU is the fifth column in our nation, as its founder was an admitted Soviet sympathizers.

The ACLU is the most un-American organization in the USA.

Please don't listen to the propaganda. The ACLU & the United Nations protect our rights in America. Without these two organizations Americans may have lost their rights long ago. The United Nations is suppose to be better advocates than they have been. It was written that the UN was in part there to protect worker's rights. They have not. Millions of jobs have been lost. However, the NAFTA AND CAFTA deal may have giving the open door for the removal of jobs as well the importation of new workers in order to break the union stranglehold on the American economy!!!!

It's just another wing of the left - they say that they try to protect civil liberties for all people, when in reality they are curiously silent in matters where people are prosecuting Christians, where religious freedom is being attacked, when conservative values are the target - this group is silent. But just whisper one thing about communists, about liberals having their self-esteem slightly dented and the ACLU will be all over you before you finish the sentence. The ACLU is the very embodiment of the left's intolerance for any kind of speech or thought that runs counter to the left's attempt to sanitize this country from free expression - especially when that expression is all about the kinds of ideals that this country was founded upon.

While I am not a fan of the ACLU I must admit they are VERY
effective when one feels like rolling in self pity and feel the urge
to harass someone.
Nah I wouldn't compare them to the SS.I shall leave it to the
readers to decide which party the comparrison is disrespectful
to.

You don't understand the nature of the threat from the ACLU. If anything they won't "come for me and you." If they had their way, there would be asolutely no prisoners in jails anywhere. The streets would be full of people running around doing whatever they wanted to one another and not paying any penalties for it.

Huh? They protect your civil liberties, and even those of people who shouldn't get them (KKK) the government is the one taking away your rights, and the one who will come for you in the end.

I don't see them grabbing Jews from their homes and beating them up, or starting street riots.

You appear to be trying to pick a fight on this one.
