Does anyone out there actually think for a moment that, "Hillary 'Lightening Rod' Left Wing-Liberal-ACLU-Lover, Queen of Mean-Solutionless-Cover Up for Slick Willy's Sexploits Clinton", could seriously debate a giant of man such as Rudy Giuliani for the higest office of the land!?

Some might forget while Hillary defended Bobby Seale the Black-Panther anarchist for murdering a "snitch" Rudy Giuliana broke the back of organized crime and went on to reduce crime in NYC by 76% in his first term. He cleaned up the horror of the Black Democratic Mayor Dinkins adminstration, who was accused of actually taking furniture out of Gracie Mansion after his term was up!

The whole News media is licking their lips at the prospect of a
Hillary vs Giuliani match in '08 !!!

Many would like to see a woman as President BUT she ain't it!

What say you?

http://throwingstardna.livejournal.com/870887.html :

What was so striking about today's airstrikes was that they targeted roads north of Beirut, a Christian-dominated area that is far outside Hezbollah's territory. There is no way that these roads can be described as Hezbollah's highways.

One possible aim of the Israelis, in bombing Lebanon's Christian population, might have been to drive a wedge between them and Hezbollah, to make them angry at the group, but if that was the goal, it has backfired. Everyone we spoke to was furious: there was the feeling that rather than striking at Hezbollah, Israel has broadened its war to strike at Lebanon in general.

Israeli aircraft blasted main roadways north of Beirut for the first time in the three-week conflict on Friday, knocking out four key bridges. The attacks severed the last major overland route for relief supplies into Lebanon, international aid agencies told The Associated Press on Friday.

for the mass deportations in the 1930's they wanted reparations
this legal suit was back in 2003

last i heard of this was this in 2005
MEXICAN REPARATIONS - Sen. Joe Dunn, D-Garden Grove, is making another attempt to make amends for the deportation of about 400,000 California Hispanics - mostly U.S. citizens or legal immigrants - to Mexico in the 1930s and 1940s. His bill, which would set up a fund to pay reparations to surviving deportees, is also on the Assembly Appropriations Committee's agenda. Schwarzenegger vetoed bills last year that would have created a two-year window for deportees or their heirs to file claims for damages and would have set up a commission to recommend ways to redress the deportations.

we are being sued left and right by these people all the while they dont want to be Americans they are killing the working class driving with no insurance . they can pic and choose laws to what they want and they are using our court systems to sue us.

Just wondering. US support of Israel brings the US nothing but grief from Middle Eastern countries.

Peace between Palestine and Israel will never be attained through the use of force. Decades of war and bloodshed has made this abundantly clear (at least to those of us who aren't fighting in this futile conflict)
.
So why should the US dirty its hands supporting one side or the other? We are already unpopular enough. If Israel and Palestine want to kill one another in the name of god (or holy cities, take your pick), why should we further alienate the Arab world by taking sides?

Republican Fisherman

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A woman in a hot air balloon realized she was lost.
She lowered her altitude and spotted a man in a
Boat below. She shouted to him, "Excuse me, can you
Help me? I promised a friend I would meet him an
Hour ago, but I don't know where I am."

The man consulted his portable GPS and replied,
"You're in a hot air balloon, approximately 30 feet
Above a ground elevation of 2,346 feet above sea
Level. You are at 31 degrees, 14.97 minutes north
Latitude and 100 degrees, 49.09 minutes west
Longitude.

She rolled her eyes and said, "You must be a Republican."

"I am," replied the man. "How did you know?"

"Well," answered the balloonist, "everything you told
Me is technically correct, but I have no idea what to do
With your information, and I'm still lost. Frankly, you've
Not been much help to me."

The man smiled and responded, "You must be a Democrat."

"I am," replied the balloonist. "How did you know?"

"Well," said the man, "you don't know where you are or
Where you're going. You've risen to where you are, due
To a large quantity of hot air. You made a promise that
You have no idea how to keep, and you expect me to
Solve your problem. You're in exactly the same position
You were in before we met, but, somehow, now it's my fault."

A well regulated Militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.

Is the right to bear arms designed so that the populace can become a militia when necessary, or is it so we can, if necessary protect ourselves from a government controlled military?

If it is to protect us from the government, is it time for the left to start rethinking its’ position on gun control, while we still can.

I hired a contractor with a license from New Jersey to do work for my company in New York. He sent me the invoice and he is charging me New Jersey sales tax which is higher, instead of New York sales tax which is lower. Is he trying to squeeze extra money out of me? Is he supposed to charge me New York sales tax as the work was done in New York?

Prior to 9/11 the biggest attack on our soil was at pearl harbor...and look how many years it took to make that movie (over 50)
