Do people like Castro or hate him I'm hearing strong words of demise keep popping up in the news and in conversations.

For everybody that didn't like Fidel Castro the rapper Pitbull if your familiar has a song out called It's Over that's just the english term the song is partially spanish including the chorus.
P.S. I'm thinking that Pitbull is from Cuba and moved to Miami.

I heard Jay Leno , talking the other night, about Fidel Castro.
Jay said that while Fidel was recuperating , he was relinquishing his power to his brother.
His brother, Jebb Castro.

You aren't gonna hear anything but love for Castro from those still in Cuba. It tends to shorten your life and has major effect on you health if you dis the big guy.
The folks in Miami however are very vocal and freely talk about their hate for the man. They were there, they lived through it. Many of their friends and family didn't live or were drowned trying to get here in whatever would float. sometimes in an inner tube.

He's had a stick up his *** for over 50 years, it was bound to be a problem for him. Cuba could be such a great place to vacation and trade with and instead, we have a seclude society that is driving 1950 vehicles, can't own any land, have no motivation to succeed and are willing to lose their lives to get out from under his thumb.
I think most of the world hopes Fidel kick the bucket and takes the communist party with him to hell.

Fidel? Oh he's a great guy! The people love him.... that's why they're willing to risk life and limb to get to Florida!

He's Old...I'm not Cuban, but I think Castro sux and kinda hopes he dies and democracy comes to Cuba. My $0.02

he's an okay guy, he gives healthcare to all of his citizens, while Bush takes healthcare away from veterans who came back from his oil wars
