Do you think that Germans took that differently at their time than you take all info about Islam now?

Hate to break it to you but Islam is a religion of militant and religious domination. If you aren't a Muslim then they have a right and a responsibility as written in the Quran and the Hadith to kill you. Jews have no such code. What did you think jihad is?

Ahhhhhhhhhh!! TRUE Muslims (not the extremists) do not just go around killing people for the fun of it.
Yes, it says in the Quaran to kill, BUT it says only when there is a serious threat to themselves, family or the Islamic religion. THAT is true jihad. So basically if someone broke into your house, you defend yourself and your family. The religion part comes into place when someone like...oh, say...Bush (purely using him as an example)comes into their country and tries to make them all Christians. They don't want to be converted and will fight to the death about it. The religion of Islam IS their values and belief system. It's NOT about just going onto a street and opening fire on anyone and everyone for no reason. They fight the jews because of land, the safety of their loved ones, and they don't want to lose their religion either. This is why they do what they do. I'd feel the EXACT same way if loved ones all around me were dying and my culture and religion were starting to die off as well.
Look at the terrorism that has gone on in the past in Ireland. That was their religious war, and it was extremist Catholics fighting extremist Protestants. Would you think any Irish person was a threat to terrorism? Well, the CIA actually does think the IRA is a terrorist organization and could be a threat to the U.S., so why isn't anyone questioning the Irish?
Right now so many people believe what is being shown on tv is the truth, but it's distorted. What is happening to the muslims is EXACTLY what happened to the jews during WWII. Muslims are being targeted as the religion to hate, and anyone who practices Islam is a terrorist, which is complete BS. Every religion has it's extremists, but because of the war over there right now, focus (especially from the media!) is on muslims.
Arabs are extremely kind people. Kinder than most North Americans. Many of them who live overseas have nothing (I truly mean NOTHING), but still invite you into their home to share any tea or bit of food that they have. Many people live in conditions worse than American ghettos.
I think it's very cool that you would ask this question because you should always question things in your life. I hope this helped.

zeppelin...are you illiterate? You obviously didn't read the post, or anything I said about EXTREMISTS. And fyi, the rest of the world heard about the beheadings, and we're sorry for them, but you shouldn't blame anyone else but Bush and his sheep for them. He put America there. Notice how they let the Canadian and British Christian Peacemakers go, but they killed the Americans? Isn't that message enough that maybe your country and your government has done something to anger the extremists?

Yes it is different. This is one of the very few times I would agree with the media. The global threat of Islam is real, very real. If Iraq says it can take over security this year, why are we sending an additional 3-5 thousand more troops over there? These little things make ya go hmmm????

Yes and no.
The nazis were jealous of a perceived advantage by Jews. They thought most Jews were more affluent than most Germans, and blamed them for the setbacks and recession in nazi germany after WWI.
Today's western media blames Islam and arabs for having the large supplies of oil and it is greed for access to that oil that drives animosity toward arabs and islam. Ever since the start of OPEC, which sets the price of oil in the middle east for all the countries that want to buy it, the western media has characterized arab governments and people negatively.
If they suddenly decided to be exploited by the west and give up control over their land and oil, claims of a worldwide conspiracy or global threat would disappear immediately.

ALL religion becomes flawed by human interpretation, not to mention the fact that the majority of it was created by humans.
In regards Germany etc ... it IS different, different times, different threat.
Besides Jews were not a threat to anyone

Yes. The Nazi propaganda machine formed lies about the Jews. The Jews never said Death to the Germans in the name of Jehova! However, the militant Islamist, radical Muslims whatever you want to call them have one credo, that is Death to America.
