The genocide by bunker busting bombs of innocent women and children by Israel last week is a permanent reminder of how our world has become destabilised by those power crazed so called leaders blinded by self belief and a hunger for war and destruction.

The administration wants special courts where you can't hear the evidence against you, can be tried without being there, aren't guaranteed a speedy trial, and can be detained indefinitely.
Also, the Secretary of Defense can ADD ANY CRIME AT WILL to get you under military jurisdiction, including, "hostile acts" (quite broad, no?)
So a reporter or a person can be picked up, sent to some jail and never be heard from again and if someone reports it, they can legally (if it passes, and it will) be also picked up.
Do you support this? And if you say, "it's to fight terrorism," this is the same language and actions that the Soviets and Saddam used, and we're going to do it now too? What happened to a fair trial? And if we have so much evidence on a person, then why does it have to be secret? For the Republicans, if Clinton did this, you'd be going insane.

up most of modern English culture?

ie isn't chav becoming the new cultural identity?

1.The best selling newspapers are chav.

2.The most popular TV programmes are chav (eg Eastenders, Corrie)

3.The educational system is being dumbed down so that even chavs can get good grades.

4. Many town centres are no go areas in the evening due to chavs.

Truly England has become the land of the worthless chav.

(btw, did you see the Panorama programme on football hooliganism)

Haditha report could implicate Marines By ROBERT BURNS, AP Military Writer.

WASHINGTON - Evidence collected on the deaths of 24 innocent Iraqis in Haditha supports accusations that U.S. Proud Marines deliberately shot the civilians, including unarmed women and children for fun, a Pentagon official said Wednesday.

Agents of the Naval Criminal Investigative Service have completed their initial work on the incident last November, but may be asked to probe further as Marine Corps and Navy prosecutors review the evidence and determine whether to recommend criminal charges. The Marines stated it was the American way to do things.

The decision on whether to press criminal charges ultimately will be made by the commander of the accused Marines' parent unit, the 1st Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Pendleton, Calif. That currently is Lt. Gen. John Sattler, but he is scheduled to move to a Pentagon assignment soon. However, it is believed Bush will pardon the Marines.

It's a FACT that Hospitals in California and several other states have been forced to close there doors due to non payment by Illegals. It's also a FACT that several Cali Hospitals have closed there ER's in an attempt to keep the number of Illegals down since Illegals tend to use ER's as doctor's offices Knowing they cannot refuse treatment.

I have a theory, let's see if I can enlighten anyone else. The reason (or one reason why) the Bush Administration refuses a cease-fire, despite most of the rest of the world's pleas for it, is so the media and the world will take their eyes off Iraq (and other U.S. problems) and focus on the Israeli/Lebanonese conflict. Have you watched CNN, CBS, ABC, NBC lately- they have almost completely forgot about Iraq-95% of broadcasts these days focus on Israel and Lebanon. Realizing the mess of 100 civilians dying each day, troops being redeployed to Baghdad, and mounting attacks and a possible threat of civil war, the Bush Administration does not want this damaging news to haunt them day in and out leading to November voting. So let everyone focus on Israel/Lebanon and forget that we are in costly wars somewhere else, Iraq and Afghanistan, so they won't suffer in the November elections. It appears as though Karl Rove is back at work, God knows Dubya doesn't have the brains to think this up.
