Blair came to power on a mandate of education, education, education. Transport for all. A health service that works. Strong on crime. Whiter than white government. He has FAILED on every one. He has lied and led the most sleaze ridden government for years. Everyone says they did not vote him back. Someone did he is there still taking us all for a ride.

LIquidic311. Thank you for pointing out my spelling mistake. He may be able to spell it but it will not change the fact he is one.

I think you might be the "looser" my friend. What all you garage politicals fail to understand is that the leader of our country is an incredibly hard job. You must be someone for everyone and also be tough enough to make decisions that effect the world. If, like you , he allowed anybody to pursuade him to do the liberal, stupid things, we would be finished. The reason Blair is there is because he is GOOD. Not always right and not always popular. But good. Better Blair than a chinless pinko that tries to please everyone all the time. Last time a liberal was in power, he nearly gave the country away.

No, the Tories would have won if i wasn't for the actions of a Tory government decades ago, which has left most of wales, the north and all of Scotland with a complete and utter hatred of them.
I think that's irrational, Howard would have done well I think.

Just like in the United States. The reason Blair won was because there was no one else better at the time.

Because most of our population are complete dumb asses. People don't see that voting for this pr*ck means that the sh*ithole that we live in at the moment is just going to get worse. I'm really disappointed in this country and i'm considering moving abroad as soon as possible

There was an assumption among most of those who voted for him that he would hand over to Gordon Brown soon after the election.
