They don't care. They do whatever it takes and let someone else pick up the mess.
That is a huge problem all over...from the tons of trash left in the desert to the new ghettos they've created everywhere.
My pet peeve is the millions of stolen Social Security numbers and id's.....they have wantonly destroyed millions of people's credit and now these true victims of illegals pay thousands of dollars to clean up their lives.
The sooner they are rounded up and deported, the better. I would rather pay more for food than have my nation trashed....

It is in fact true that legal and illegal immigrants are PRIMARILY responsible for breaking th health care facilities. My partner is a Charge Nurse at a large hospital which has many different medical centers and hospitals. There are areas of the USA where the problem of non payment is so severe that it closes down the facility because service to the indigent is mandatory.
The fact also comes up that many Americans don't pay their bills or can't and this doesn't help. BUT, they are Americans! Here legally and deserving well beyond that of an illegal entrant to our country. The poor/indigent Americans are our (ugly) brothers and sisters but we own them and we need to take care of our own, so that we ourselves can be taken care of and also, do the right thang!
If and when we get health care worked out in our country so that all Americans will have affordable health care, imagine what kind of impetus this will be for the service hungry, drooling illegals jockeying for position to feed at the public trough, that come here to birth babies and have their older parent cared for etc.
If we don't take care of this problem soon, it will be all over for the good old' US of A.
Send the illegals home, seal the borders, hold employers responsible for their part in this debacle of illegalism in our country!

It is a definate problem but not something to blame one group of people for. I see plenty of WHITE, that's right I said WHITE, people using the system to their own benefit. There are families where I live that drive fancy cars and live in nice homes but somehow are able to get free lunches provided by taxpayers for their children at school. How many trashy white women show up at the grocery store with their food stamps dragging along 5 kids from 5 different fathers. At least the "illegals" as you call them, come here to work and try to provide a better life for themselves and their families. Unless you are an american indian I don't think you have the right to call anyone illegal. I'm pretty sure your ancestors came here on a boat the same as mine. The whole problem lies with employers who do not provide health benefits, and a healthcare system that has become too expensive for anyone to afford. Insurance is ridiculous, both for healthcare and doctors malpractice. Judging by your statement and obvious distaste for our brothers from the south you are most likely republican. If you are a republican, than what do you care yopu are rich enough to pay for your treatment. If you are not rich, then why the hell are you a republican. It is one world man, and we will all be judged on how we treat our neighbors.

Channel 4 News
ALBUQUERQUE -- New Mexico has a split personality when it comes to illegal aliens.
Most New Mexico residents believe illegal immigration is a serious or somewhat serious problem, according a poll commissioned by the Albuquerque Journal, which reported the results Sunday in a copyright story.
Most residents believe non-citizens shouldn't receive many of the benefits often tied to citizenship, such as food stamps, driver's licenses, college scholarships and free health care for their children. Most New Mexicans believe illegal immigration hurts the state's economy
New Mexico has 180 miles of international border. Some national studies have placed the illegal migrant population in New Mexico between 50,000 and 65,000. The federal government in 2000 estimated the number at 39,000.
According to the poll, Hispanics were much more likely than Anglos (10 percent compared to 4 percent) to say illegal immigration posed no problems in New Mexico. Democrats and Republicans also differed greatly, with 10 percent of Democrats and only 1 percent of Republicans saying it was no problem
Along age and income lines, those 65 and older (44 percent) and with household income below $40,000 (37 percent) were most likely to say it poses a very serious problem.
"People in lower incomes are threatened by job availability and a perceived lowering of the wage scale," Sanderoff said.
Fifty-three percent said illegal aliens hurt the economy, 24 percent said they help the economy, 8 percent said they had no impact and 8 percent said they felt they both hurt and help.
Those most likely to say illegal aliens hurt the economy were people with some college but less than a four-year degree (65 percent) and those in households making $30,000 to $40,000 (68 percent).
Respondents also were asked which of three issues related to illegal immigration concerned them most.
Thirty-four percent cited the cost of social services, 24 percent said terrorism and 18 percent expressed concern that illegal workers will take jobs from citizens and drive wages down by accepting lower pay.
Seventeen percent were concerned about all three issues and 5 percent said none of the above.
Since 2003 almost anyone of driving age in New Mexico, regardless of their legal status in the country, has been eligible to receive a New Mexico driver's license. Yet 64 percent of those polled opposed allowing illegal aliens to get driver's licenses.
And beginning this year, New Mexico allows some illegal resident students to pay in-state college tuition and be eligible for the lottery scholarship. But 72 percent of those polled disagreed with that policy.

you don't need money to get rid of them. close off their economic possibilities and they receives decrease back the same way they got here. to close their economic chance you in easy words take care of the those that take advantage of unlawful extraterrestrial beings as criminals. I make certain that the minute an Excel beef plant went into forfeiture over hiring unlawful extraterrestrial beings and their CEO went out the door in cuffs the commercial possibilities could dry up. The illegals could go away the same way they got here. i comprehend that liberals which include your self believe that each man or woman issues could be solved by ability of taxation despite the indisputable fact that it really is not actual. convinced, i could be keen to pay an advance contained in the commercial value of fruit with the intention to guard borders, language, subculture and nationwide protection yet no longer a tax. ultimately; without the slave troublesome artwork, the vegetable market could create equipment to diminish their expenditures. That equipment isn't mandatory with the serfs they have now.

Seems you got some answers-California, New Mexico, Arizona-I believe those are border States. Many States and Counties had to borrow that can not go on for long. The gold pot isn't endless. Closings and borrowing shows that. And the taxes migrants(even if amnesty was given) pay will not cover it as their needs will be greater. Most would still be qualified as lower income so benefits would have to pay. Looks like something got to give.
Good Question.

They cannot justify it. They know how to beat the system. They are already illegal, and that means they don't care too much about obeying laws.
People who do not pay their bills can be sued. A judgment can be entered against them, if they can be found, and if they ever have any assets to attach.
Here's an idea. Get a class action lawsuit going against all illegals who refuse to pay for their health care, because their refusal is ultimately hurting you. If one of them wins a lottery, attach the winnings.

It's not up to illegal immigrants to determine hospital or US policy. So how can they justify this.
We as a society CHOOSE to treat illegal immigrants in ERs. We see it as inhumane to refuse emergency treatment. I'm not saying that is right or wrong, but it is a fact.
It's not the ilegal immigrant's fault that US Policy and hospital policy regarding ilegal immigrants is not sustainable. That is a very major problem and needs to be addressed. But from the tone of your question, I think it's pretty clear that you would agree that it shouldn't be up to ilegals to determine these policies.

Research the amount that Americans abuse the hospital systems and then post. I know our hospital there is only one is over run with Americans abusing the ER instead of going to their primary care doctor because they have no intention of paying. Not only do they go for non-emergency's but it's easier to get narcotic drugs in the ER.

Well California needs accountability, they are a liberal state and I am sure have huge bureaucracies.....I live on the border and our county hospital has no such problems.....It has a budget and pretty much sticks to it.....Why do you blame illegals for perhaps the mismanagement of county hospitals? Where is the personal responsibility of those county hospitals?
