are you concerned about the 2 million people within the US prison system, many who can not even read,, 600,000 released into society each year?

when we locked them up, (10-30 years ago or more) and threw away the key, did we think our actions would come back to haunt us?

i'm joining the army, and i asked before about people's experiences, got lots of really interesting responses. (i appreciate them all good or bad after all i asked for experiences right. i really appreciate everyones honesty). but now i have another question. what is the difference in the air force, navy, army, marines? i mean like in pay and benefits, etc....................... i only ask because a couple people advised me to join the navy or air force.

The reason often cited for permitting or tolerating illegal immigration is 'cheap labor'. As illegals demand higher wages, benefits and so forth, will the microwave be augmented 'til it can take over the rest of the kitchen? Will your next ride in a cab be 'robo-taxi'? What does the future hold when the cheapest labor of all is automation? If you're a legal citizen, bonus Q: What's the lowest wage you'd work for? Honestly?

Before you all start calling me all kinds of names, I don't want to "own" one, just kind of lease her. After she gets too many "miles" on her I want to be able to "trade up" as it were. Does anybody know what I should figure for depreciation? She's not going to have to work to hard (it's not like I own a pig farm) so the wear and tear will be within acceptable standards. I want to have her legal, so what do you think it will cost? Or if that makes her cost prohibitive what's the best way to sneak her in?

U.S. Secretary of State Condaliza Rice said in an interview on PBS tonight that Syria has been sending troops and supporting Hezbulah in Lebanon, that Hezbulah is an armed force operating as a state of its own inside Lebanon outside the control of the Lebanese Democratic Government and they initiated the taking of the two hostages and the shelling of Israel which prompted the current war. So why does Syria send troops and supplies to Hezbulah which is a terrorist organization?

I just heard it on Lou Dobbs that ICE has been arresting an average of 1,000 illegal aliens a month. Whooo hooo!!!!! It looks like their May day thing blew up in their faces! I think when they degraded the American flag, it really made people upset and they woke up. It's about time!!!!!
