If you want to blame someone .. blame the Lebanesse governoment, which spent the last 15 years busy making money, and abusing its power.. ignoring the weakness of its own army and the poor people in the South. The result.. Hezboallah took the chance and gained the loyality of the south population and got its own army there..
Then again.. Israel has the right to defend itself.. but what it is doing right now is not the right action. How can Air raids kill people hiding underground.. so there were so cruel to bomb the houses, untilities, infrastructure of Lebenon.. Now there will be no peace anymore coming from this area..

You know - just once I would love to see if any one of these conservatives could for five seconds consider the fact that there are two sides to every story. In the past we used to speak of proportional responses to aggression - Isreal is completely out of control and Bush is shamelessly defending them. How the devil is this supposed to create a lasting peace in the future. All is it doing it breeding even more anger toward the west. In the military there used to be a standing order given to all soldiers taken prisoner that there number one priority was to escape. Why would you think that would be less relevant to people who have been repeatedly oppressed for years by the Isrealis. Get a grip people - you don't create peace by ramming it down someone's throat.

yes, and Hezbollah has also fired hundreds of rockets into Israel killing Israelis. This is no longer about the kidnapped soldiers. Hezbollah has crossed the line and continues to cross the line and many are dying because of their stupidity.

Do I think it's fair? No.
I think that it is unfair that the HezBULLies provoked the Israeli government to kill so many people.
I think that it is unfair that the UN sat on it's butt for more than 20 years and let the HezBULLies stockpile so many weapons.
I think that it is unfair that the HezBULLies weren't kick out of Lebanon years ago.
I think that it is unfair that the HezBULLies store weapons in civilian areas and fire them from there.
I think that it is unfair that the HezBULLies prevent people from leaving targeted areas.

No I don't think it is fair that Hezbollah (being the cowards that they are) are launching rockets from the homes of Lebanese people. I don't think it is fair that no one is talking about the 1000's of unguided rockets that Hezbollah is sending in to population centers in Israel. I don't think it is fair that Hezbollah can kill civilians with impunity but Israel is not allowed to fight those who have sworn to destroy them. So yes you are right it isn't fair.
