I am a business owner, and contrary to all the mis-information about it, I don't hire illegals nor do the other business owners I know. Stop blaming us for the failed immigration control.

NO. There is major fines, etc... if you do and you get caught. They can even shut your business down. When I worked for Sam's Club (Wal-Mart) we had 2 illegal Mexicans working on our overnight stocking crew. They didn't speak english, but we didn't think anything about it. We figured they had either became citizens or had work permits (cause we've all had to show proof when we get hired, right?). Anyway, a year after they were hired immigration came in, got them, ended up deporting them, and the store was fined tons of money. Not something you would expect to see in the Mid-West and the funnier part is they made what the rest of us did, not less.

I would not hire an illegal, I know it is against the law and I don't want to be fined, they still do that here where I live.
Yeah they work harder and don't cry about it either! Most do have skills in construction and do good work.....
Of course you don't have to pay them as much as locals. I dont trust local contractors, I have been burned.....If I could hire an illegal, I would!

No, because if I am working hard to maintain my business, I'm not going to do something that could jeopardize what I have. I have no problem with legal immigrants, but I would not hire illegal immigrants no matter how cheap the labor.

Cons won't do this through fact it suits their applications to chat like they do no longer help immigrants. Immigrants, the two legal and unlawful, do dilute the hard artwork pool and force wages down, that's solid for good sized and small agencies. Cons in many cases help in spite of they see as solid for corporation, alongside with unlawful immigration, yet precise now they opt to chat like they do no longer like it, that's BS. as a approaches through fact the declare that agencies legally would desire to call for paper artwork that identifies a guy or woman as legally interior the U. S., those papers could be falsified and frequently are. what number employers pass previous merely soliciting for the papers? it is not merely small agencies the two that use illegals. The hotel and hospitality marketplace are huge employers of inexpensive unlawful hard artwork working example.

I'd hire who ever was qualified for the job. I would not hire an undocumented worker because he was undocumented.

It's against the law for one thing. I don't think its worth the risk. But that's me, obviously many feel the benefits outweigh the risks.
