A few weeks back, i got to meet president Bush back in high school where he watched me and my classmates perform a science experiment. It got viewed all over the school through the classes' TVs.He seemed amused, but it seemed like Laura Bush knew more about it than he did. Eventhough i dont i dont agree with Bush's war on terror, social security plan, and other numerous issues, SURPRISINGLY Bush seemed to be a very nice person. Shocking isnt it ?! Even withall that security around, Bush seemed very friendly and kind of a likeable. I CANT BELIEVE I SAID THAT.
But even with this, i still wanted to ask him some hard questions in my mind. But i was told before the taping that if i ask Bush something that was not on the list (yes, there was a list) then i would be suspended. Bummer. I still wanted to ask but then i thought of my school and i saw it as more important and not worth risking. Besides its an honor to have him come to your school. IF YOU WERE TO MEET BUSH WHAT WILL YOU ASK HIM?

No assumptions about me or attacks on me please. I'm just telling you what I saw.

While channel surfing I came across the channel C-Span which showed a panel of people discussing and presenting examples as to why they believe that the US government planned 9/11. I heard of this conspiracy before but I didn't think that it was being taken this seriously by any group. Have any of you heard anything (specifics and sources please) pointing towards the US committing the 9/11 attacks?

For arguments sake, suppose the US did plan this attack, what do you (especially the Americans) think the punishment should be for the people involved?

Europe is always afraid of "rocking the boat" whenever serious problems arise throughout the world. Even in their own backyard, Europeans are too afraid to do anything.

Yet whenever the U.S. actually takes action, all those weasels can do is criticize. I'm convinced that if Russia or China had invaded Iraq, nobody in Europe would have made a peep.

You guys never learn. Appease, appease, appease, and your countries will get steam-rolled over again just like in WWII.

It is my understanding is that this whole thing started as a Hezbollah plan for a "prisoner swap" in an effort to get some of their people in Israel out of prison. They have done this before and sadly, Israel negotiated and freed some prisoners.
So, wouldn't it have made more sense to just kill 8 prisoners? Six for the ones killed in the kidnapping and 2 for the kidnapped soldiers. Yes, this might be the death of the two hostaged soldiers, but it would have saved all the civilians and foiled the Hezbollah plan, making them empotent.
I know the international community would have cried and whined about it, but perhaps it would have prevented future acts of terrorism such as the one perpretated by this cowardly group of heavily armed thugs who hide behind children.

A very interesting question I heard asked the other day. Of course it was originally intended to be about the current crisis in the Middle East, but you can answer it as a nonspecific, philosophical question if you want.

this into a "race" issue?? It really doesn't have ANYTHING to do with a persons "race", color or nationality. It has to do with BREAKING our laws, overburdening the welfare and medical system, and taking benefits they are not entitled to. I, for one, would feel the SAME way about any foreigners coming to this country illegally and doing these things!!! What are your thoughts???

This is the same reasoning of blameing the girl who got raped becasue she was wearing a short skirt late at night
Israel is blameing the victim? They dropped leaflets and then cut off the exits and they say it's thier fault?

If someone dropped leaflets on New York would you be able to get every one out and if they bombed all the roads leading out would it be your fault you got killed?

Are these god's people or Satans? Didn't jesus (who I don't believe in or his supposed daddy) say you judge a tree by it's fruits? Well what good fruit is Israel producing other than killing children and then blameing them for doing it.

Question - is Israel beging to show itself as a sociopath?

Personally I think Condi Rice would make a great candidate. She's a She,
She's Smart.
She's Black
She is very likeable ( Sorry Hillary, you lose big here).
She is very unlikely to have scandals.
She is from the south.
If she would convert to Judaism she could singlehandedly take half of the reasons away from those who vote for Democtrats.

Legislation Will Deny Illegal Immigrants Non-Emergency State Services.

Colorado Springs, CO

With legislation to take effect Tuesday denying
illegal immigrants some non-emergency state services, the state is preparing an expanded list of documents to prove legal residency.

M. Michael Cooke, executive director of the state revenue
department, said she is writing an emergency rule expanding the number of acceptable identification documents.
The new law lists only four such documents, driver's licenses, state identification cards, tribal documents and military I-D
cards.

In addition to adding other documents, waivers will be available for some homeless people and some others who would have difficulty
getting the other documents.
