I think the reason most liberals confuse right from wrong is because most of them are atheists. Liberals cannot define right and wrong or good and evil. They can only get hyper critical of someone who can. Life must be difficult for liberals.

Richard Nixon was drummed out of office for far less! George Bush is CRIMINALLY responsible for deaths, losses of limb, and destruction against HIS OWN PEOPLE, AND Iraq's; he has broken and re-written many laws to achieve his own paranoid goals; he has restricted our freedoms of press, of religion, of sex; he has stomped on Bill Clinton's efforts to clean up the environment by relaxing or invalidating the laws against the country's major polluters; he has made his mega-wealthy friends even wealthier by enlisting their company's efforts in war-time profiteering; he has OPENLY cut taxes that help only the wealthiest of Americans--I could go on all night with his criminal negligences!! And he has wrapped himself up in the American flag and denied the humanity of an entire class of people (gay people) while he was doing all of the other forementioned.

So why should Bush be treated ANY more fairly than the people he has irrevocably harmed?!

Their is no problem with the situation itself, the problem is the lack of a Trustee to administer the situation. The trust deed was drawn up by a Solicitor and is simple enough. The equities are held by a Bank who require instructions from the Trustee. Both solicitor and his practice no longer exist and the Law Society can find no trace of either. Some years have elapsed so this not too suprising, however, we now have deadlock! The Bank is correct; their is no dispute over what what should now happen; but we collectively need an aparantly defunct Trustee. What is the proceedure in these cases?

not guilty is what i wanted tp plea, but my NY lawyer with a NJ address, and my co-defendant's public defender stated it was best to plead guilty becasue even if the judge suppressed our statements against each other that they can still, go after me for my statements. which is ok becasue my statements were made becasue my co defendant who is admitting lying. none of the statements are pertaining to the crime, which was a vehicle being stolen and found a week later burnt. Even though, I fired my lawyer befroe the plea was enter. The lawyer said my firing him didn't mean anything and I had to get permission from the judge. Being told that I went with the guilty plea, even though I am no way guilty and none of the evidence the prosecuter has show any guilt. Just those statement. I want to take this to trial. MY lawyer will not return my calls or let me see and of the so called eveidence or tapes the prosecutor has. also my codefendant is my wife.I really need assistance

It seems to me that the illegal immigration debate of who is right and who is wrong has become very focused on land....who took what land from who, who deserves to have it back, etc. In my belief "America" is a way of life, a band of people, a belief system, a culture. "America" is not land. America is a principal of freedom that was drempt of, fought for, gifted to others, many people died for, and many continue to fight for. Thanks to our ancestors we have something to believe in and it's not the land, it's a Way of life. Have we gotten so lost in our monetary selfishness that we have forgotten, America the DREAM? The men and their families who came here weren't seeking land. They came here pursuing freedom from Tyrany and the right to practice their own beliefs. America is a way of life. Anyone who still believes in America should be fighting for the basic fundamental principals our ancestors drempt of. The land or who was here first talk has nothing to do with "America".

I'm trying to understand Syrinana, and in a lot of ways, dont get it. I get that our gov, works with corp. that has their own best interest at heart and a government that gives approval to initiatives that agree with the bennefits that big bus/benefits have to offer(ie, energy and oil, political votes etc.) But is that the only message of Syriana? Am I missing something?

Given that the supply of oil at current supply usage is not likely to last 30 years and will become a BIG problem way before that and givn the fact that a lot of Muslim states produce oil and a lot of Non Muslim states Really need it.

How long do you think it will be that the "petty squabbles" (not that I deminish the meaning of the suffering and loss of life) will become Real OIL WARS?

Or is it just me who can forsee this in the next 10 years or so.

I can see America giving the Big finger to the rest of the world and the UK following like a lap dog.

Do you think those losers will complain again this year? Since they love playing the victim and trying to get pity from others that there so persecuted even though the majority, they probably will, they probably cant wait for it.

The voting system we have is a JOKE! It will always come down to two people for president and that is not fair to the American people. Political parties are keeping this country from greatness by not allowing real people into office. We are forced into getting politicans who don't even know what it is like to really make a living in this country as most have had everything handed down to them. The media and political parties are in cahoots and that is what they want. They do not want someone who thinks outside the box to become President as that would ruin a lot of careers as many politicans would be exposed for the corrupt, greedy people they are. Of course, not all politicans are bad but the good ones get overshadowed by the rich, simple minded ones that only have the parties best interests in mind. We need to start voting real people into office or things will never change for the better. Please do not hold back your answers, I love to be criticized.
