Richard Nixon was drummed out of office for far less! George Bush is CRIMINALLY responsible for deaths, losses of limb, and destruction against HIS OWN PEOPLE, AND Iraq's; he has broken and re-written many laws to achieve his own paranoid goals; he has restricted our freedoms of press, of religion, of sex; he has stomped on Bill Clinton's efforts to clean up the environment by relaxing or invalidating the laws against the country's major polluters; he has made his mega-wealthy friends even wealthier by enlisting their company's efforts in war-time profiteering; he has OPENLY cut taxes that help only the wealthiest of Americans--I could go on all night with his criminal negligences!! And he has wrapped himself up in the American flag and denied the humanity of an entire class of people (gay people) while he was doing all of the other forementioned.

So why should Bush be treated ANY more fairly than the people he has irrevocably harmed?!

Because Americans are too apathetic to get involved enough in politics to really understand whats been going on and how it affects them. Reminds me of a bumpers sticker I just saw the other day that read, "If you're not outraged, you're not paying attention."

YOU ARE A MORON. ILL RESPOND TO YOU IN CAPS SO ITS EASIER TO SEE WHAT I WROTE INSIDE YOUR MINDLESS BANTER

Richard Nixon was drummed out of office for far less! George Bush is CRIMINALLY responsible for deaths, losses of limb, and destruction against HIS OWN PEOPLE, AND Iraq's;
ABSOLUTELY NOT. CONGRESS VOTED (INCLUDING YOUR LIBERAL HERO'S, ALTHOUGH THEY LIKE TO FORGET THINGS THEY DID YESTERDAY) TO LIBERATE IRAQ. THE U.S. IS FIGHTING ALONGSIDE IRAQI PEOPLE. DON'T FORGET 9/11.
he has broken and re-written many laws to achieve his own paranoid goals; he has restricted our freedoms of press, of religion, of sex
NAME ONE LAW THAT BACKS THIS CLAIM UP. THIS IS AN ACCUSATION YOU CAN NOT SUPPORT.
; he has stomped on Bill Clinton's efforts to clean up the environment by relaxing or invalidating the laws against the country's major polluters; I ASSUME YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT TRYING TO LET REFINERIES BE EXPANDED OR BUILT. ARE YOU AWARE THAT HAS NOT BEEN DONE IN 30 YEARS BECAUSE THE LAWS ARE TOO STRICT? ARE YOU COMPLAINING ABOUT THE PRICE OF GAS? DON'T BE A HYPOCRITE. WE HAVE LESS REFINERIES TODAY THAN WE DID 30 YEARS AGO, AND OUR OIL CONSUMPTION HAS INCREASED.

he has made his mega-wealthy friends even wealthier by enlisting their company's efforts in war-time profiteering;NAME ONE! ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT HALIBURTON? IF YOU ARE, YOU ARE OBVIOUSLY IGNORANT ON THE SUBJECT. HALIBURTON HAS BEEN GETTING NO BID CONTRACTS FOR DECADES. THEY ALSO GOT ALL THE NO BID CONTRACTS UNDER CLINTON'S ADMINISTRATION.

he has OPENLY cut taxes that help only the wealthiest of Americans--DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT THAT TAX CUT DID? IT LOWERED THE PERCENTAGE OF TAX FOR SOME PEOPLE. THOSE PEOPLE STILL PAY A LARGER PERCENTAGE IN TAXES THAN MOST PEOPLE.

I could go on all night with his criminal negligences!! ILL BET YOU CAN'T.

And he has wrapped himself up in the American flag and denied the humanity of an entire class of people (gay people) while he was doing all of the other forementioned. HE HAS NOT DENIED HUMANITY. HE DENIED MARRIAGE. LOOK UP THE DEFINITION OF MARRIAGE. A MAN AND A WOMAN. GAY PEOPLE CAN STILL GET MARRIED, JUST NOT TO SOMEONE OF THE SAME SEX. JUST AS STRAIGHT PEOPLE CAN NOT MARRY SOMEONE OF THE SAME SEX.

So why should Bush be treated ANY more fairly than the people he has irrevocably harmed?! YOU SHOULD THANK YOUR LUCKY STARS THAT SOMEONE LIKE HIM IS IN OFFICE. YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW THE WORLD WORKS. PEOPLE LIKE W. BUSH IS THE ONLY REASON YOU HAVE THE FREEDOMS YOU HAVE. WHY SHOULDN'T THE REST OF THE WORLD DESERVE THOSE FREEDOMS?

Just because you happen not to agree with his policies hardly makes it criminal and certainly does not warrant firing squad. His watch has experienced some difficult times - e.g. 9/11 and the hurricanes. All things considered, the economy has maintained a relatively stable state. You make it sound like Bush is some sort of dictatorial facist, which of course he's not. Show up on election day and vote alternatively if you don't like the way things are going. Better yet, if you can do better, run yourself. Oh and by the way, no matter who's elected, show a trace of respect...and it might not hurt if you bathe once in a while.

Well, lets go point by point.

"deaths, losses of limb, and destruction against HIS OWN PEOPLE, AND Iraq's"

His own people? Iraq's people? I assume you are talking about the current involvement in Iraq. Let's review. Iraq invaded Kuwait. The US helped out Kuwait, and Iraq surrendered. Iraq agreed to many things, few or none they ever fulfilled. Iraq fired on UN and US airplanes. After 9/11, we realized that Iraq could easily use their uncounted WMD's against us. They wouldn't agree to their surrended terms, so conflict begins again.

"he has broken and re-written many laws to achieve his own paranoid goals"

Maybe you mean surveillance? I don't know, but I think it's a good idea to keep track of possible terrorist funding and communication. Call me nutty, but this just ain't something so off the wall as you imply.

"stomped on Bill Clinton's efforts to clean up the environment"

You mean Bill Clinton's efforts that caused poor and working class people to lose their jobs, because their factories couldn't afford to stay open? All because of a non-existant threat of global warming?

"war-time profiteering"

Are you implying that we not help Iraq and Afghanistan rebuild after being wracked with war because of their stupid dictatorships? Or are you suggesting that companies should refuse to pay their employees and suppliers for going over there to help?

"he has OPENLY cut taxes"

Yep - cause poor people don't pay taxes. You can't cut taxes for people who don't pay taxes. This makes it easier for people, mostly small business owners, to hire extra people. That's a good thing, right? Maybe you don't think so.

"denied the humanity of an entire class of people (gay people)"

Huh? I see more openness in this culture toward homosexuals than ever before? Trust me. I live in the LA area. West Hollywood is more "out and proud" then ever before.

You talk about these events as if they were fact-based. But really, they are opinion based. You disagreeing with these actions is different than them being wrong or illegal.

Ever notice that since 9-11 we have not had any major terrorist attacks in the USA but they are happening all over the rest of the world. I would say Bush is doing a pretty good job for us.
“Before I judge a man, let me first walk a mile in his moccasins."

President George W. Bush is many times speaking directly to groups of people with words from his heart. No script, just answering random questions. Let’s pretend you were in just one of those press meetings and you had to answer questions, rapid fire, about your area of interest. How well would you do? Think maybe you might make one or two mistakes of grammar or pronunciation? Do you think people should call you stupid or uneducated because of a slip of the tongue?

“Before I judge a man, let me first walk a mile in his moccasins."
Don’t criticize another person’s work until you’ve tried to do it yourself; don’t judge another person’s life until you’ve been forced to live it
As a challenge to our mindset and a way to stretch our understanding, we can put ourselves in the shoes of George W. Bush

Come on AMERICAN people. You may think it is cool to bash Bush but you are only hurting the esteem of your great country. What kind of signal does it send to other countries if people in the USA are “bad mouthing” their president.

You have the right to freedom of speech and all that but a little common sense is needed when you are standing if front of whole world.
Don’t make this great country a laughing stock to other countries. Oh, just in case you did not know, when you post things on Q&A, there are people from all over the world that read it.

George Bush is far too good at getting rid of Muslims. As long as he keeps up the good work, he'll do okay.

Why don't you go on forever. Have a bacon sandwich while you're in your Muslim rant.

Did you know the 72 virgins waiting on you were trained in "The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas." George Bush had a hand in them personally.

Note to Taffi: This is a Muslim. He is not a Liberal. He is an agent of Zawahiri.

"He has ... denied the humanity of an entire class of people (gay)..."

Fifty years ago the American Psyichiatric Association labelled all gay people mentally ill. Every single state legislature in the country banned "sodomy." In the name of enforcing those laws, police raided gay bars arresting every one in sight. Homosexuals who had jobs in the federal government were hounded out of their jobs. School teachers were fired for being gay. Hollywood would never talk about homosexuality at all -- the most taboo subject of them all in films.

As of 13 years ago, President Bill Clinton couldn't even succesfully keep his campaign promise that he would lift the ban on gays in the military. Not even when both chambers of Congress were controlled by Democrats.

If you think Bush has been treating US gays any worse than WE have been treated in the past, then you need to GROW UP!

I can see that you have your nose embedded in liberal propaganda - a group that complains about everything, but has
no solutions. The world is a complicated place and the solutions are not easily come by. Talk about one issue at a time - your
question is just more Bush bashing without any real substance.
Try to think for yourself and not just be a parrot for your liberal
party !

Blah, blah, blah.....You don't like Bush. Get over it. He'll be out of office in less than 2 years and it isn't going to happen until then. Why don't you put your time and effort into something more constructive than whining and complaining. Most of the "crimes" you have listed are crap anyhow. It's no surprise that Liberals get their a.s.s.e.s kicked in each election. They do nothing but whine and obsess on speculation and propaganda.
