Don't encourage violence & war, you don't want to experience it. I suspect no one, asker or answerer for this question quite has the full understanding of what is happening.
War does not solve problems, it only creates more.
Both sides are responsible for the fighting.
Who will be the bigger man and offer the hand of peace. It's braver to sit down and talk to your enemy than fight him.

Probably too chickenshite is right.
if they bomb women and children long range, and blow up the UN building after 12 warnings not to, it's easier that way, than to look a kid or peace keeper in the eyes and kill them hand to hand just because you dont like his religion, or have any respect for all the countries of the UN....
that's why.

You're a nitwit with this post and various anti-semitic posts like "who can trust Jews?"
For Israelis war is about who wins, not who demonstrates supposedly manly qualities like getting themselves killed. Israel has total air superiority, and near total superiority on rockets and missiles. Ground fighting is more dangerous and deadly, and gives the advantage to fighters defending land they have prepared for battle. Wars are rarely won by air power alone, although sometimes (as the Americans did in Serbia) bombing can force a government to capitulate. Hezbollah declares that anything that does not kill them is a victory, and when they are killed they declare that a victory too, so they are unlikely to accept any form of surrender. That means Israel will have to go in on the ground if it wants to win. But not until it has gained as much advantage as it can from the bombing. Hezbollah's approach is destructive to Lebanon and the Lebanese people. They're very calculating, setting up terrorist bases in cities knowing that every civilian death that comes from fighting them is going to draw idiots like you to their side.

Because they do not have the ability to fight on the ground, I think the Hezbolah would be the same as the kamir rouge in vietnam, they will fight to the end, no matter what it takes and they believe in their mission. If the Americans stop giving them munitions it might be a very different story.

Well its more dangerous to stage a ground offensive. Israel doesn't really care about its image around the world anymore so it isn't bothered by collateral damage to innocent civilians. At the same time, Hezbollah shouldn't have take hostage Israeli troops and fired rockets into Israel proper.

Because the Israelie kids like to scribble on the missles messages like "To Lebanon with love" THE KIDS!!! Could you imagine American kids doing that??? The entire middle east- They raise thier kids to be terrorists. That includes Israel. The sympathy for them for the past 50-60 years is obviously worn out so I don't know what they'll use now.

I hope for all the free worlds sake they take you up on that challenge. I heard they are suspending the air campaign for a couple days... maybe they will just bring in the troops now, and get those cowards from under the skirts they are hiding.

Because when they do, they get the hell kicked out of them. Jew forces entered the town of Bint Jbeil and claimed to have control, and then were massacred in a Hezbollah ambush which wiped out their company and destroyed at least one Jewish tank and several supporting armored vehicles. So much for the "Invincible" Israeli Army.

Because Hezbollah would fight a guerrilla war and hide amongst the Lebanese civilians, and there would be far more Israeli deaths compared to if they just continued the bombardment
