Maybe if the world would have stepped up and helped the Israeli's when their busses were getting bombed and their soldiers kidnapped, this whole episode wouldn't have happened. They are doing what they have to do to protect their boundaries. The Lebanese people should consider how they can ask the rest of the world for assistance to keep terroristic elements out of their country. I don't think there will be comprehensive solutions any time soon, since Hez and the like don't want the Israeli's there at all - boundaries or not. I see no easy solutions to the dilemmas if everyone refuses to honor boundary lines. Note the violence breaking out at the UN centers in Gaza and in Beirut. Promoting more violence is not a solution.

Only Jesus can help them. The terrorist will only help them realize more death. Lebonese will teach their children to hate and to kill Israel and Americans. So what is the sense. Besides Muslims kill eachother everyday. Or do they only care about deaths when a non muslim inflicts it. The Middle East has always been a hot bed for murder and hatred. Besides most of them are screwed in the head because they all mary their cousins. This mixture makes for a bunch of sick minded people. Inbreeding is an abomination.

If the Lebanese government would put military people for defence instead of Hezzbolla, no one would have attacked Israel in the first place. If Hezzbolla honored the 2nd Geneva convention rule of "don't put military in a civilian area", there would be far fewer casualties.

Ghostbusters? Dr. House? A friendly neighborhood therapist?

On the serious side, however, I don´t think they will ever be able to fully forget. they will eventually move on and stop suffering so much, but the image will always remain.

I agree with sohrob esquire, by the way.

I'm afraid nothing will stop that from happening and it will only serve to generate a whole new generation of hate-filled Arabs and Israelis. Neither side is innocent in this ugly conflict.

Oh, and this Cat Knows person who posts on these boards is a moron.
