After WW2 the British were in control of Palestine.
Jewish illegal immigrants from Europe entered the country and formed terrorist gangs to drive the British out.
They carried out many atrocities against both the British and the indigenous population of christian and muslim arabs.
Eventually the British left and the terrorists formed a government and declared The State of Israel in1948.
This was recognised by the UN because the Soviet Union thought
that Israel would be a useful ally as it was a socialist state and the US supported it because of the jewish vote in presidential elections and because it had supplied the terrorists during their fight against the British.
Once established, the jews attacked the arabs and forced them to leave so that more jewish immigrants could be accomodated.
These arabs had to live in refugee camps in Jordan and Gaza.
And so it goes on.

To sum up the historical background of the current conflict in the Middle East is the following: Two nations have two different religions. Both see the area of currently Isreal, as their own Holy Land. Both nations believe that they have a right to that very same plot of land because of their religious beliefs. This is not a new conflict at all. It has been going on for a very long time, and will continue to do so. Human's fight for their beliefs, to protect them, or gain them back. That is why this current conflict may seem complicated to you.

In 1947, following increasing levels of violence together with unsuccessful efforts to reconcile the Jewish and Arab populations, the British government decided to withdraw from the Palestine Mandate. The UN General Assembly approved the 1947 UN Partition Plan dividing the territory into two states, with the Jewish area consisting of roughly 55% of the land, and the Arab area roughly 45%. Jerusalem was planned to be an international region administered by the UN to avoid conflict over its status.
Immediately following the adoption of the Partition Plan by the UN General Assembly on November 29, 1947, David Ben-Gurion tentatively accepted the partition, while the Arab League rejected it. Scattered attacks on civilians of both sides soon turned into widespread fighting between Arabs and Jews, this civil war being the first "phase" of the 1948 War of Independence.
The State of Israel was proclaimed on May 14, 1948, one day before the expiry of the Palestine Mandate.

Israel was given to the Jewish people in the Bible. It is referenced in Genesis 13. Israel had 12 tribes. That land today continues to belong to Israel. Man may think he can divide what the LORD put together, but not so. You have to look at it in the spiritual realm. "History began in the Middle East. The most important event in history happened there (Crucifixion of Jesus, burial and Resurrection). History's final showdown will take place there (Battle of Armageddon, in Israel)." God has His hand on Israel. Man cannot stop it with all the ammunition they have, it is only by the grace of God. The conflict in the Middle East began with Ishmael and Isaac, and Esau and Jacob's descendants.
The battles in the Middle East cannot be won be either side (Revelation 16:13-16). The Lord Jesus Christ will end it by His return from Heaven with His armies. Then He, the Conqueror, "will stand on the Mt. of Olives which is in front of Jerusalem on the east."
Although God is in control, that does not mean that He causes the evil which we see all around us. Evil people cause evil, and sometimes they become tyrants who inflict their unrestrained desires on innocent victims. But God will not allow evil to flourish unchecked forever. Every person--whether a tyrant or not--will ultimately be examined and judged by a holy God.

alright, curiously there are a number of issues of all those solutions. the least complicated thank you to remedy it is to look up wiki or maybe google it. As of suitable now, Israel is the real call for the country. if somebody needs to get into fights approximately who's conquering who... Then the 'individuals' will would desire to circulate away united states of america to the close by individuals. factor is, its the terrorists which try to get Israel to alter into smaller because of fact that israel continues to be giving up land to them. (West economic business enterprise, Gaza) yet to respond to the question. Its israel for now until something drastic occurs and somebody does finally end up bombing the completed of the middle east and destroying absolutely everyone in it, the harmless and the accountable.

The country that we today call Israel, was as I understand It, set aside for the Jewish refugees of Europe at the end of the second world war. I believe this land was previously called Palestine. I think history will show that this was the will of the United Nations and I fear, a very bad mistake.

The UN did in order to honor the promises of the Balfour Declaration of 1917, when Britain allowed Jews to settle in the land they acquired in the Middle East (Palestine) after World War I.

Current conflict?
Well... God "gave" Israel to the Jewish people after Moses brought them out of Egypt. Anything after that is just a continuing saga.
