Europe is always afraid of "rocking the boat" whenever serious problems arise throughout the world. Even in their own backyard, Europeans are too afraid to do anything.
Yet whenever the U.S. actually takes action, all those weasels can do is criticize. I'm convinced that if Russia or China had invaded Iraq, nobody in Europe would have made a peep.
You guys never learn. Appease, appease, appease, and your countries will get steam-rolled over again just like in WWII.

I'm guilty of using the euroweenie comment which is a little too broad a brush.
Bottom line is we don't share common values with Continental Europe. We do share a common set of values with the UK and Austrialia. But that's about it.
The rest of the world pretty much holds the view that the purpose of the individual is to serve the state. Whereas, us and those whom we share common values hold the view that the purpose of government is to protect the rights of the individual. That may not seem like much but it is a big difference in how you view everything that happens.

No one else should answer this guy, he's an idiot. He's got this question from Fox news, they were asking folks this question today. I've been losing respect for fox news so much recently, it's starting to seem like every word is scripted by the white house. Not only that but the UK always back up the US and they're in Europe, but it seems this guy and fox are too stupid to realize this.

Now I thought that England did go into Iraq with the US as did Italy and Spain - it was France and Germany which wouldn't get involved. And isn't it the Europeans who keep the peace in the Balkans? Aren't England, Italy and Spain part of Europe or have they moved recently? Or maybe Geography's not your strong subject.

You are talking in Absolutes and many Europeans are with us in the Global war on Terror and along side us in Iraq. You can't judge a continent by what France does. They do not speak for the continent.

I think socialism shrinks their brains. They seem to believe that they are entitled to a job, house, a living. People in the US have to earn this and expect nothing from the government.

They seem to forget who bailed them out three times in the last century (WWI,WWII,Cold war) and don't want to make waves until those waves are washing their way of life by the wayside.

It's so easy to support a war based on lies & deceit when you are not the one who's risking your life in the battlefield.
