The title is pretty self explainatory. Will George W. Bush be remembered as one of the worst Presidents of all time, even though he's served two terms? What will his legacy be remembered for? Has he done a good job at anything?

It has happened. Should one example of killing an innocent man be reason enough to get rid of capital punishment? Keep in mind that with the cost of appeals, putting someone to death is more expensive than life in prison. Also keep in mind that most people on death row die from natural causes, not from execution.

The Palestinians live in refugee camps - and even those get destroyed. All of Lebanon is being bombed supposedly to go after Hezbollah in the south.

Is it just because the US likes to go bomb others too?

I am being suied by a Chinese company over non-performance of a contract. The contract was based in Texas but my attorney says that I have to pay to have the Chinese representative come to the states to be deposed. This does not sound right. Does anyone know if this is true?

The media, liberals, and the public seem to always Bush bash. I just want to know what the limits are. Is calling him a liar unpatriotic or is saying he is a traitor?

Please help my neighbor. She is a grandma who raised her grandson who was born a drug baby. The grandson had problems all through school with severe violent/bizarre behavior and finally went to alternative school in middle school and graduated from there. He had several run-ins with the law for public outbursts , fighting, theft, etc. but charges were never pressed and so he has NO record. He's on medication for bipolar and social disorder, but they help only a little. Now he's 20 and wants to join the US military. His grandma is here sobbing and about to have a nervous breakdown at the thought of him joining. She feels he is going to get himself and/or others killed. From living next to this kid, I'd say she's probably right. So my question is , will he be allowed to join and if so, is there any thing his grandma can do to stop him.

Thank you taking the time to answer and help her.

STARBUCKS DENIES COFFEE TO MARINES

Recently Marines in Iraq wrote to Starbucks because they wanted to let them know how much they liked their coffees and to request that they send some of it to the troops there. Starbucks replied, telling the Marines "thank you for their support of their business, but that Starbucks does not support the war, nor anyone in it, and that they would not send the troops their brand of coffee.
So as not to offend Starbucks, maybe we should not support them by buying any of their products! As a war vet writing to fellow patriots, I feel we should get this out in the open. I know this war might not be very popular with some folks, but that doesn't mean we don't support the boys on the ground fighting
street-to-street and house-to-house for what they and I believe is right. If you feel the same as I do then pass this along, or you can discard it and no one will never know. Thanks very much for you

Why is America such good "bedfellows" with Israel?

Call me ignorant, but when your "friend" becomes a liability, was or is this entity still you friend?

Isn't it amazing how a humans have been squabling over a piece of land for thousands of years. When does one say, enough of the killing, and revenge? Like some gang-turf war...

Yesterday, the House of Representatives AND Congress passed the Stem Cell Research bill allowing for the research of cures of COUNTLESS diseases and ailments that mankind. Some that could be cured forever.
Before you answer, think about this. With the passing of this bill we could save many upon many lives and cure future diseases forever. Some in which people that have it are tortured for good. We could have Mohammad Ali or Michael J. Fox walking and talking normally by the end of their lives. We could save the lives of the next Stephen Hawking or the next John F. Kennedy. This could be an amazing feat!
On the lateral side, we could also kill of the next Albert Einstein or the most brilliant, wonderful person to ever live by killing of the embreyo that they would have become. In this, we could have a loss that would have changed many aspects of the world.

What do you think about this bill that was passed?

They get money from you in several ways no matter what you do.

If you rent a house they take money, if you own a house they take money and if you inherit a house they take money from you then as well! You can't possibly win!
