Furthermore. No blind Bush bashing or other hate filled invectives aimed at conservatives. THe New York times(and it wasn't the first time) has made American tactics easy to discover to the terrorists, and even if they understood beforehand, their article simply undermines our presence there and adds fuel to the fire of hatred ignited by the insurgency. They are even taking the lives of their own people and you blame American? Who's talking crayz now?

The New York Times apparently has it's own political agenda and it seems they thought they could damage the present administration by running the articles they have. Unfortunately it has backfired on them, their circulation is down and many of us believe, as you do, that the behavior was treasonous. I used to purchase the paper just to see the more liberal side of the news, but stopped sometime ago. The paper is much like the old National Inquirer, which now probably has more credibility than the Times.

It sounds like you and Ann Coulter should get together and jump off a cliff or something. It really is scary that you want to trust the government so blindly. I am all for freedom of speech and that is all that the NY Times did. How would you like the government tracking your finances and your phone calls, oh never mind they already are.

Who is talking crazy here is you.

In response to your response "No blind Bush bashing or other hate filled invectives aimed at conservatives. " What are you doing to the liberals right now, I believe that you have your own hate filled invectives. Don't be a hypocrite. If you didn't want people to answer your question don't ask it. Talk to your group of friends that believe that walking blindly through the world and stomping on other countries to get what we want is OK, because they are all just "terrorist". Maybe you should look back at the Vietnam war and see how well that worked.

Jr, we've already gone through all this.

First off, the Wall Street Journal (a conservative newspaper) also leaked the same information as the NY Times and on the same day. Dick and George went after the Times, attacking them and calling them traitors while never mentioning the Journals story.

Why, because it was pure and simple Rove type propaganda to deflect attention away from more serious issues.

The U.S. Patriot Act already made stipulations on the financial industry to do financial reporting to the government. I think the terrorists would be idiots to not think their finances were being watched anyway. What is to keep them from having another "clean" looking person do the financials, anyway? Do you think the terrorists are dumber than the Mob who knows how to launder money and hide transactions? This so-called treasonist act is just a bunch of hype, cool your jets, you've just been conned by the propaganda machine.

You parinoids crack me up. The taliban, or any other terrorists don't always get lucky. They have very little to fight with. There might be more people killed in your neighborhood by punks and thugs than by terrorists worldwide. You don't loose sleep over that.

The whole thing is a fear tactic aimed at gullible people. Bush is still in because of it. so our jobs get sent overseas and gas is $3 a gallon.

Yeah I agree, the press goes overboard revealing these things. But on the other hand, it's the Government's fault there's a leak in the first place. You can't always blame the messenger. It may help the Government tighten their security.
