STARBUCKS DENIES COFFEE TO MARINES

Recently Marines in Iraq wrote to Starbucks because they wanted to let them know how much they liked their coffees and to request that they send some of it to the troops there. Starbucks replied, telling the Marines "thank you for their support of their business, but that Starbucks does not support the war, nor anyone in it, and that they would not send the troops their brand of coffee.
So as not to offend Starbucks, maybe we should not support them by buying any of their products! As a war vet writing to fellow patriots, I feel we should get this out in the open. I know this war might not be very popular with some folks, but that doesn't mean we don't support the boys on the ground fighting
street-to-street and house-to-house for what they and I believe is right. If you feel the same as I do then pass this along, or you can discard it and no one will never know. Thanks very much for you

It is a very old forward with bogus info. Delete it & let the person who sent it know.

I agree with you wholeheartedly, awnery. As a veteran of the Marine Corps, I find the actions of a well respected company such as Starbucks appalling and deplorable, but, as I am not a coffee drinker (I pause for the customary gasps of astonishment at the fact that I left the miltary without a 'coffe hook' for a hand), and when I do drink coffee, I drink it with cream and sugar only (someone please get a paramedic for the lady that just passed out in Seattle), there isn't much else that I can do to deny starbucks any more money.

The story about the Marines and Starbucks is totally false.
There is a website that deals with urban legends and actually researches rumors and the like. Here is a link to this particular myth.

Hope this helps. I always check out stories like this because they are usually made up by someone who has a bone to pick or a grudge to hold.
Have a great day!

So only because of the fact they Starbucks does not consider you they could desire to go through? it is a infantile point of view in case you look at it from a third-man or woman point of view. So what in the event that they do no longer help the conflict? So what in the event that they do no longer deliver unfastened coffee to the warriors? My concern with them is they burn their beans to squeeze extra flavor out and that they squash the little coffee shops out of corporation (like walmart). does not recommend i circulate to circulate spreading rumors approximately them over the internet.

Hm. Your grammar is reasonable, so you won't get the thumbs down...however, I got a question...

You're a war vet, yes? So, what's your avatar doing looking like a ten year old girl?
