The title is pretty self explainatory. Will George W. Bush be remembered as one of the worst Presidents of all time, even though he's served two terms? What will his legacy be remembered for? Has he done a good job at anything?

Yes

Let's take a look at what he has done.

- He believes in manipulating the public with propaganda in order to control the masses. Hitler believed the same yet he claims to Christian. The Christian faith believes in honesty and truth.
- He is a false Christian. He was hired by his father in 1988 to learn how to 'sound' Christian in order to win the evangelical vote.
- He knowingly lied to the American ppl in the state of the union speech about Iraq's WMDs.
- He has destroyed my country's high level of respect all around the world. Now ppl actually hate us instead of admire us.
- He has ignored my country's laws and disobeyed the constitution repeatedly.
- He has used retention to have prisoners tortured which is a war crime and violation of the Geneva convention.
- He is flat out an immoral man with an evil spirit. He believes in lies, deceit and power.

How ppl believe this man is a Christian is beyond me. Reagan was a liar too... 'the Iran Contra' scandal but at least Reagan didn't destroy our reputation globally.

Well, i feel he was a good president who got alot of bad press. He also had more difficult situations to deal with then most presidents. He gave the women of Afghanistan freedom and put the terrorists and horrible Taliban in check. We need to stop as a country blaming the President for the mishaps of the government we put in place... The movie Fahrenheit 9-11 is a complete bashing of our country and most people look at that as 100% truth. Like I've said before, alot of people didn't like Reagan especially here in Pittsburgh but now he is looked at as a great President. Same with Clinton. I'm sorry but i feel that the world would still be in the same situation if someone else were President. We had faulty intell on Iraq. And any president who was handed this intell would have done the same thing. We have our government to blame for that not our President. Dont forget Clinton bombed Iraq almost on a weekly basis while he was in office...

G.W. Bush is the greatest president of all time at...
...maintaining a legacy of cronyism at the highest levels of government,
...truly dividing the nation by shamelessly obfuscating facts, blurring the lines that separated church and state, and misusing science,
...alienating America from its most staunch allies in Europe, South America, Asia and even North America,
...sacrificing a generation of young men and women in the armed forces for a pointless war over oil,
...trying to use Constitution as a means to deny rights, as opposed to its purpose to grant them,
...spending more than $300 billion on a war abroad when our own education and health care systems are in shambles,
...sacrificing the previous decade of work done to eradicate the national deficit, balanced budget and budget surplus, creating a near record deficit,
...squandering the goodwill directed at America after 9/11 from nearly every country in the world,

and perhaps his greatest legacy,
...promoting a culture of irresponbility, deceit and the belief that the president is somehow above the law, even the Constitution which grants his authority.

Yes, he is the worst president in the history of the nation.
Sorry for the rant, but this question touched a nerve.

First, what amazes me is how some half-wits regard sexual realtions as a greater 'sin' than being responsible for the deaths of countless people and for ruining the economy and getting us all into debt.

But I digress....

W is the worst for several reasons; a lot of these reasons were covered by other people but I will give one that I have not seen or heard much.

At his notorious State of the Union he outlined the Axis of Evil: Iraq, Iran and North Korea

shortly after that preach-speech we invaded Iraq without any provocation and (still) without any evidence of WMD or terrorist , 9/11 ties

now what is going thru the minds of Iran and North Korea?

"We're next!"
How to stop American aggression?
Nukes!

Is it by coincidence that these two countries are now working on nuclear technologies? Who is gonna stop them-how?

No, I think you can safely blame Pres Bush for being at least partially responsible for helping to create a more dangerous, unstable world....

and this guy has two more years to screw!

If you live long enough history will answer that question. Same question can be posed for Bill Clinton. His Monica episodes will be erased with time if the things he did were great. Benjamin Franklin was a great man/politician and his darkside has been downplayed over time while his record of accomplishments is
still shining in most Americans eyes. A lot can happen before
the 2008 presidential elections. His story and biography are still
a works in progress.

By far the worst. Even Nixon who was impeached, was intelligent and understood domestic and foreign policy. Bush understands nothing. We are going to have many years of hard work to try to overcome the damage this administration has done.

Maybe second to Warren G. Harding, and Harding was a Klansman during office. So because of that, no one can be worse than him. But I agree that Bush isn't doing a great job at all.

From a foreign perspective, I think he will be remembered as one of the 2 worst Presidents - Ronald "Ray-Gun" and "Dubya" will be remembered as ineffective on your domestic issues (health care, education, and econimics) and bombastic on the foreign issues.

On the other hand, Gerald Ford did little . . .
