Before the veto, I didn't think he could make the lives of Americans worse, and every time I say that, he proves me wrong. Maybe I'm just too narrow minded. What do you think?

If I do, will he know I did? He doesn't work but does very strenuous activities around his apartment, like moving the huge trash bins around to clean around them. Constanly moving big, heavy boxes, etc.
I hate to hear of people who really deserve disability and can't get it but this guy can. It's not fair!!!

I think it's wrong to veto stem cell research. Cloning I can understand because it's actullay a person. But meanwhile there are tons of people out there with things that could be cured but he won't approve it, so they are screwed. Any opinions?

maybe im a cynic, but looking back on middle east history has taught me , that for every one you kill another ten are willing to take their place , HEZBOLLAH are not an army, but they are an ideal, and for every one of them that we kill, will only make their ideal stronger

WASHINGTON - President Bush cast the first veto of his 5 1/2-year presidency Wednesday, saying legislation easing limits on federal funding for embryonic stem cell research "crosses a moral boundary" and is wrong. "This bill would support the taking of innocent human life in the hope of finding medical benefits for others,"

Where is the taking of a human life. Is a sperm cell life?

How can your "Moral Boundry" be to let someone living suffer and die a painful death for a lack of a cure brought about by being allowed to growing cells in a Petri dish?

These are cells that have no markers on them and has the potential to grow as any cell in the body, possibly even brain cells!

Bush said it "crosses a moral boundary"! He has 2,781 dead in Iraq over oil and has preformed more executions than anyone in modern day history!!!!

Brian Mulrooney is flashing back into my mind where he spent his time saying yes Mr. Regan and singing when Irish eyes are smiling. Now it's Steven Harper . Canadians are being killed by Israeli aggresion and all Harper did was photo copy George Bush's speech ...........How can he ever pretend to be an impartial Canadian PM when he acts like the branch manager to Bush.

How can we motivate the opposition parties to topple the government and get an election called.

And no I don't care that the Canadians being killed are of Arab or Lebonese background - they are Canadians - the government gave them citezenship and that is all that should count.

Not condemming Israel for killing our citezen's any of them just for the oppurtunity to kiss Bish's butt is unacceptable .

Does Israel always look to make extra enemies in every conflict or are they just stupid?

Why the heck is the US sending ANY money to people responding this way? Wasn't Lebanon doing a great job of improving their relations and political structure without this sort of "help?" Why couldn't Israel cooperate with Lebanon to root out the terrorists?

Successive Lebanese governments have been unable to defend the Lebanese people and their infrastructure from internal and external aggression. An economy that has to rebuild itself every few years is not sustainable.
