You may not be an anti-semite. I don't know you so I have no idea. But you are either ignorant or biased against the true facts. How many "innocent" women and children does Israel have to kill to approach the likes of Hezbollah and Hamas? Israel can turn the rest of the Middle East into parking lot for all I care. The world would at least be a safer place!

The innocent women, kids the elderly are always the ones who suffer most in any war. Humans have been fighting wars since the dawn of mankind and that isn't going to change anytime soon. As long as there are very divergent opinions between nations, just as there are with individuals, wars will be fought and the innocent will die. I really don't know if water boarding would be preferable to death, but it sure did seem to get results with some of the terrorists. Before we condemn water boarding which really isn't torture, it would be nice to know the rest of the story about what intelligence was gained and how many lives were saved. That is why Dick Cheney wants the president to release the rest of the CIA reports, which of course he won't do, might make President Bush look good.

If only you knew how ignorant the audience of this forum are, you won't waste your time asking this question. People over here are as ignorant and arrogant as it gets and they really don't care how many innocent people are killed by Israel's actions. I really can't remember the last time Americans admitted that Israel were wrong. I mean they are able to condemn their own soldiers' actions in Iraq (even if no action is taken to correct it), but Israel seems to be that spoiled child of the United States that can bully whoever it likes and still get congratulated. Come to think of it, this is elections year and Israel is more important in the United States than health care or Iraq and the only thing you will hear from now on is pro-Israel statements. If people are allowed to kill innocent people, if that what it takes to free two soldiers, what would you say about the seizing of two soldiers to demand the release of hundreds?

Innocent people die in wartime. Israel is doing everything in its power to limit civilian casualties. They have gone as far as to drop letter bombs in the ares to be targeted before hand.
What I really just don't understand about knuckleheads like you, is why are you not condemming Hezbollah for launching rockets into Israel, before and now during this current conflict?
Why is it that all the Israelis killed, and/or captured don't matter a hell of beans to you? But God forbid Israel strike back and defend herself, she is instantly the killer of innocent lives.
Are you really that stupid? I can't imagine someone being that ignorant.
Lets try this another way, maybe I can understand you or better yet you me. Your next door neighbor hates you, has told you a number of times, that he wants to kill you and your whole family. He almost on a daily basis, shoots a rifle a few times through your windows, your wife and two of your children are already dead. No matter how often you go to the police (the UN) they are completely unable to fix the problem. You have given him money, half of your backyard (which now only serves to let him get a clearer shot), nothing you have tried works. Finally after losing your last child one day you go and try to kill your neighbor, before he kills you or any more of your family. You unintentionally kill some of his children in the process. The police come and accuse you of murder and condemm you.
I don't see how the problem is any different from the above example, I cannot see how the course of action to protect yourself is in ANY way the wrong one. What would you do, go give him hugs and kisses?

Isreal has on more then one occasion given back teretory that was captured in war. Not many other countries have doen that in an effort to make peace with it's neighbors. Isreal has been under constant and systematic attack since before it was founded as the Jewish State. I can tell you I have been there more than once and each time I go I am amazed at howe much retraint the Israile Govt. showes to those that attack it. If America was attacked like the State of Israel they would have already retaliated ohh wait we are right now involved in a war thousands of miles from our borders whoops and yet when Israel defends itself from those that are only inches away they are to be condemed. You must be kidding me I am no lover or hater of Israel but they have a right to defend themselves and to fight for their survival what they are subjected to each day is worse than anytrhing that has ever happened in America. I would never say Israekl is always right but I have almost never seen anything that the Arab States have done that is true and right and peacful in their dealings with Israel. Just the other day the leader of one terrorist organization said "It is good that all the Jews are comming to Israel this way we will not have to hunt them down all over the world" That is a sick and demented way of thinking and as far as I am concerened every terrorist should be dipped in Bacon grease and fried in the hot sun. When you hide behind your mothers apron strings dont be suprised when your mother ends up hurt!!!!! It makes me sick to see all the death and destruction that is heaped upon us all every day but untill people stop trying to make everyone conform to their ideals and let people be who they are war and death will rule the day.............. I say, Israel defend yourself and do what you must to secure a safe and sane homeland for all who desire to call it home. As for what you beleive good luck to you and may you one day see it from anothers eyes............

It doesn't make you an anti-Semite it makes you an educated human being! Israel's claim that they are defending themselves is a bunch of bull! They start $h!t with everyone in the region because they know they have the nukes and the US backing. The UN needs to sanction them!

If you disagree with Israel's actions, that does not in itself make you anti-Semitic. In fact, I have not heard anyone called that solely because of they disagree with Israel's actions. Perhaps you have, but I haven't. That being said, this is a fight that Hezbollah began, and Israel is defending itself. It is horrible that innocent Lebanese are dieing, but the real culprit is Hezbollah, Syria and of course, Iran.

From what I gather, Israel gave the palestinians the Gaza strip, showing they wanted peace, in return the palestinians captured 2 Israeli soldiers and held them as hostages, sort of like returning evil for good. Seems the palestinians arent content until they have driven the Israelis into the sea. So in a way the palestinians brought it upon themselves and their neighbours.

No hon, it makes you a humanitarian not to want to see the killing of civilians. Hating jews because theyre jews is antisemetic, disliking what they do is not. My best friend is Jewish, yet I do not support Israels attack on Lebanon for the Hezbollah taking the 2 soldiers is not justifiable for the hundreds of innocent people being killed. The little girl in the hospital shown on cnn said it all "Please stop bombing us its not our fault"
ISRAEL is not defending herself from terrorists it has become the terrorist by bombing civilians in retaliation for 2 soldiers. Its not worth it there was a better way!!!!!!!!
