Before the veto, I didn't think he could make the lives of Americans worse, and every time I say that, he proves me wrong. Maybe I'm just too narrow minded. What do you think?

Trust me you will get silly people that answer this question saying stuff like " he is the greatest president ever!"

And no you are deffinatly not narrow minded, his approval ratings are so low he could be impeached but since the republicans are in favor.

It's a terrible situation our country is in.

I agree, I doesn't seem like he could do any worse, but he will surprise us!

To those of you who don't know what the question is about:
Bush used his first-ever veto to stop the discovery of new cures for diseases like juvenile diabetes, leukemia, Parkinson's, Alzheimer's, and many others. More than 70% of Americans from every walk of life -- whether in the faith community, the science lab, the hospital or at the bedside of a sick relative -- and majorities in both chambers of Congress disagree, but that didn't stop him.

I think Bush was right to veto. Look at the track record of embryonic stem cell research. Honestly, look at it. It has NOT, no matter what you've been lead to believe, produced ONE promising lead. (Many doctors have confirmed this.) Cord, placental and adult stem cell research has produced MANY leads and isn't in the least bit controversial. Why not fund the testing that has proven results???

I think we've had some tough years too. I agree. He is not a public speaker, which makes matters worse.
Even before him to have Clinton in there will all of his affairs, I think we could use a break. Wonder who will run? Hopefully someone different then both of them.

There are many many millions right now that think the economy is great, unemployment at near record lows, taxes lower - not everyone is in a place where things are worse for them. A big generalization you make there.

You do not have enough information and therefore your logic in forming this opinion is faulty.

So, the opinion has a faulty foundation.

You honestly are not seeing the big picture.

I think you are misguided. In what way has your life become worse? Unemployment is low, growth is strong.
