it was brought to my attention that 4000 jews missed work at the world trade center on 9/11 and also it was brought to my attention why they bombed the world trade centers it was so we would go to war with iraq (the same country isreal is fighting with) hmmmm kind of wierd all jews will deny this but it is 100 % true it wasnt a jewish holiday or anything they all just missed that day.

Ok, now..if your thinking Lebanon is really getting what it deserves, then your wrong it is the Lebanese goverment that deserves punishment, not innocet civilians who had nothing to do with it. It's sad that the multi-billion (or was it million?) project to restore Lebanon is going to waste. It's just like any country that was and is stuck in a war. with innocent civilions caught in the middle of this action..Does any one disagree or agree with me?

Every year, every citizen who wants to fund stem cell research gives 5 extra bucks in taxes. If you do this you get placed on a list. If you decide you do not want to fund it because you are a religious nut... fine, don't give the extra 5 bucks, but if you ever get sick with one of the disceases that can get cured after the reseach, then you better pray hard 'cause you are SOL... makes sense?

Terrorists don't distinguish between civilian and military targets, so why should the U.S. or Israel be concerned with it?

My buddy put it this way: There are 3 types of people in Iraq (and lebannon/palestine)

I honestly cannot see why people consider it ethical. It is basically the legal murder of babies. I understand that women have the right to their bodies, but when a women gets pregnant, there are two bodies instead of one.

What I really don't understand is that the same people that are for abortion are against the death penalty. Why is it that convicted criminals have the right to live but innocent babies do not?

People need to take responsibility for their actions. If you have sex and get pregnant, it is your responsibility to take care of the baby.

I was talking to a guy today who was a Marine up until a year ago. He talked in detail about how he was very liberal, and I do mean very liberal. Atheist, pro-taxes, socialized medicine, defense cuts, pacifism, the works. I said that must set him apart from most Marines, and he swore up and down most Marines he knew were pretty liberal people.

Is this true? Is he just blowing smoke up my *** or are many U.S. Marines actual liberal Democrats?
